We had takeaway, it was brilliant. Probably the best chinese we have had in Scotland. We were a very large group and the restaurant had no problem filling our somewhat large order. Very highly recommend

We came here to celebrate our granddaughters birthday and have been before and enjoyed it, We booked the table for 6pm for 5 adults and 2 children, we ordered our drinks and they were brought quickly then ordered our meals 2 of the adults ordered starters and we ordered 2 kids meals, they got brought to the table relatively quickly then once the starters were cleared 2 of the adults got their meals one of them had finished his meal and the other said her meal went cold very quickly all before the other 3 had been served theirs, we had to ask twice when ours would be ready and got told “not long now” eventually 1hour and 25 mins after arriving we got our food, my husband had ordered a chicken dish and got a pork version of it (he spoke to the girl who assured him it was chicken, this was like no chicken he has ever tasted and he is a butcher) so he ended up with stir fry veg off the plate by the time I got mine I had had a can of coke and prawn crackers and didn’t feel like my food so got it to go, my son only had sausage and chips from the European menu and said they couldn’t even get that right, even once we had our food nobody had came near to ask if everything was ok even though I’d hardly touched mine, when the bill arrived they charged my husband the full price for his meal and when I challenged this I was told they would pass our feedback on to the owners but to be honest we just wanted out of there by this time and couldn’t be bothered arguing about it, my son in law assured them that we wouldn’t be back and the service and food was well below standard and he got the same reply, I know this is a very long review and it is a personal view but this was on a Friday night when there was only another 4 adults and 2 children at other tables in the whole restaurant so what would they be like on a really busy service, my personal recommendation would be to avoid this restaurant and spend your money somewhere else.

Went for a midweek meal for our 35year wedding anniversary. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely. Will be back in a few weeks, it was a magical find. Cheers to the Chin Chin staff

The quality of the food for the price is a complete rip-off. The food was so bad and we walked out of there nearly paying £70 for two people. They didn't hardly have any of the drinks listed on the menu and I couldn't believe the cost. Will not be back until something changes there. We need some better quality food here if this is gonna be the only restaurant in town.

I bought a Groupon deal for 2 courses for three people. The selection of starters were limited, and more so if you wanted to keep within the price limited . The choice of mains was better. We ordered spring rolls. They were like the bulk bag you get in Iceland etc - made mainly of thick pastry with very little filling. For the main course we all got Kung po chicken. It was nice enough but half was made up of peppers and onions. The portion size was about half a normal portion. Fried rice was £1 extra. A bottle of water was ,£2.50. I wasn't keen on the interior decor - but that's personal taste. The young waitresses were lovely - they done a great job and deserved 5* for their great service. Overall, I'd not go back and wouldn't recommend. Maybe if it wasn't a Groupon deal it would be better

My wife and me order 2 curry’s, 2 fried rice, chips, spare ribs. The Order was £40 which itself bit steep in price compared to what is in the area. The chips and spare ribs where nice. But the 2 curry’s where horrible and for the price we paid even worse and our main meal. Absolutely no flavour at all in the curry’s and the rice, curry’s sause was water no thickness at all just pure watery, with the plain tast of chicken and rice blan. Taste homemade and could of done it myself that bad. Won’t be ordering again way those prices for a curry that doesn’t even taste authentic. Only ordered as usual takeaway one was closed. No wounder we don’t go elsewhere when it’s closed.

Great food, good portion size (watch getting too big a starter). I couldn't finish my dinner! Staff are lovely, professional and friendly. Will be back. I'd recommend this place.

Our first visit with an online voucher and we will definitely be back. We received such a warm welcome and the food was lovely. I had vegetable spring rolls followed by beef and black bean. The fried rice seemed more like steamed but was still lovely. The decor is surreal but I liked it (see photos).
