   As a family, we have enjoyed visiting this restaurant many times & have always found the food to be delicious and the service good. Tonight (Sat 29th Nov 25), we decided to order takeaway. At exactly 5.40pm, we placed a £70 order. The call handler duly accepted the order, took the payment over the phone, and advised that we would receive our order soon. At 7.07pm, I called the restaurant to check on my order as, by now, an hour and a half had elapsed. I was disappointed to be told that our order wasn't on its way. It was only now just being cooked by the kitchen & the delivery driver was on standby. At 7.36pm, I called to ask if the delivery was now on its way as we were all so hungry by this point. I was told that it was out for delivery and should be with us soon. At 7.55pm, 2.5 hours after the order was initially placed, I decided enough was enough & tried to call to cancel the order & ask for a full refund. My call was instantly rejected & I was promptly cut off. My brother tried instead & instantly got through, so undoubtedly, the call handler decided they didn't want to speak to me anymore! I'd like to mention at this point that both my brother & I remained calm and respectful during each call. My brother asked to speak to the manager & was told he was actually out delivering our order & would discuss this with us when he arrived. Just after 8pm, exactly 2.5 hours after our order was initially placed, the "manager" appeared at our door. We asked if he knew about our experience... he knew NOTHING about it. After explaining everything to him, he advised that he would speak to the manager & flippantly offered us 'a credit' on our next order. We explained how we were led to believe that 'he' was the manager. We also advised that there would be no more orders. An absolutely awful experience. Not only did we wait a shocking & completely unacceptable 2.5 hours for a very expensive order, it occurred to me that we were lied to on several occasions and not even once throughout the whole experience did we receive an apology! We will not be back.

   Food is always good except for the puddings. Had chicken satay with boiled rice which was lovely and good portions. Had sticky toffee pudding as desert which was an over microwaved syrup sponge so was crispy & hard.

   The food was fantastic however the quickness of everything clearly shows it isn't made fresh. Good size portions however it is slightly expensive. The layout and decor of restaurant is very dated and you can feel quite rushed by staff to finish. But I could not fault the food.

   We both enjoyed our lunch. I was happy with the variety of vegetables used in the vegetable curry different from other places. Curry was spicy. Friend said the quality of beef was excellent. Service was quick. The lunch menu is £12.95 for a two course meal. After ordering chips and two soft drinks, the bill is closer to £37. The restaurant is very close to Morrisons supermarket in Ballieston.

   Food is lovely when they actually get your takeaway order correct! Last two times got home and items missing. When you call the lady you speak with is rude and all she says is 'your order was correct'. Will not be returning
