Such a warm and welcoming place. The food was to die for, spice levels adjusted to everyone's preference. My 7-year-old said the noodles from the kids menu were the best she's ever tasted. The staff were incredible, very courteous and friendly. Highly recommended!
Delicious and authentic Thai food in an adorable setting with fantastic staff. What a wee gem, glad we popped in to try it. It has parking, gluten free and veg/ vegan options as well as halal chicken.
Went here today for a meal with my family. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. This is our first time eating here, and it won't be the last. The surroundings are pleasant, and the prices are very reasonable. Our party was 3 adults and 2 children, and the kids were happy with the children's menu. I would definitely recommend Sabannga to anyone
Very unassuming looking place just off the main road at Uphall behind the rail station. Very friendly staff with a family run feel to it. Starters were extremely good, the king prawns were not the usual over cooked or re heated stuff. Extremely good. Main courses were again extremely good. Wide spectrum of flavours yet nothing was being over done. Hats off to the chef who is obviously tasting things before they leave the kitchen. Nothing is over dressed and they aren't using poncy plates or over the top garnishes. All in all an extremely good place to try Thai food like it's supposed to taste. Go right now and try something you haven't had before you will be very happy. Book in advance for peak times.
A nice treat for father's day. The food was amazing and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. For starters we had the chicken green curry spring rolls, the spicy Thai fish cakes and the Gai Satay, all were delicious and a sign of good things to come. For the main course we had the papaya salad, the stir fry green bean Thai red curry, Pad Mee Singapore, Pad See Ew (wide flat noodle) and the Penang curry (red curry) with coconut rice. For dessert we had sticky mango rice and our kids enjoyed the strawberry and vanilla ice cream. Everything was presented so well on the plates. We can truely say all the food was amazing, so flavoursome and we're definately going back again. Very highly recommended.
First time in SABANNGA THAI restaurant 10 mins from my house and YOU have to go! Great food. The chicken satay is so good(tender and flavourful). Papaya prawns salad with pickled fish is not in the menu, but the lovely chef made it for me!!. Fish cakes are good. Red curry was good. Yum woon sen seafood salad is good However mango sticky rice was okay( better with fresh mango). The service we received was great and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us a great Thai experience.
Fantastic takeaway last night from this super new venue. The spring rolls were delicious - and the black pepper salmon was soooo good. And that was just my meal. Others got seafood, chicken and salad dishes - and all equally complimentary. We’ll definitely be back.
