   Went for dinner in the ev bar Starters were lovely but that's where it ends the mixed grill was tiny for £20.95 2 chicken wings,1 lamb chop ,1/3 chicken breast and 3 chunks of beef with chips and surpost to be mushroom and salad not what it stated on the menu at all and the sausage on the pizza was weird it tasted as tho it was made of bread crumbs and milk!!! If you don't have the ingredients for the meal don't put it on the menu.

   I was with a funeral party. The food and service were excellent. The only complaint I have is that the seating arrangements made it difficult to get in and out from the table.

   I had lunch with my friends. I have coeliac disease. The male member of staff when asked about gluten-free was dismissive and said the only option is steak or risotto, there was nothing on the menu to say if gluten-free, .. the girls were very helpful... turns out there was gluten-free pasta which I had. Very nice tasting chicken broccoli in cream and garlic pasta, then ice cream but not worth £24.95 for the set Christmas lunch. I'm sure there are lots of good food that can be on the menu or offered...it was for me disappointing. The decor was lovely. But still a cold draught.

   The restaurant is very good. Really nice food and service. The room we stayed is not really up to standards. The radiator was leaking, the walls had literal holes on it, the mattress was too soft and tv wasn't working. We'll be back for the food but not for the rooms.

   It was a gathering of friends n family, following my mum's funeral service. Food was fine but staff were so kind, efficient n patient which made a big difference to how the afternoon went. Redstones has been a place for family events both happy n sad n will continue to be. Thank you.

   Redstones Hotel Uddingston is a modern, comfortable hotel, bar & restaurant. From the menu you can choose from either a very generous side order to an extremely tasty main meal with a good choice of desserts. Prices were reasonable & the bar/restaurant area where we dined was immaculate! Covid-19 precautions were inplace throughout, i.e the wearing of face coverings, social distancing & hand sanitiser. The staff were very friendly & helpful, service with a smile! You can just walk-in or if you prefer, you can book in advance, which I would suggest doing so Friday-Sunday. There are spacious washrooms for all abilities. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden with outdoor heating & lighting surrounding the many benches & tables, lovely to Sit outside even in the colder weather. Would recommend a visit, even if just for the hot chocolate!

   The food was lovely. But the service was very slow. Party of 6 put into a back room. Took 20+ minutes to order, then another 45+ before the food arrived. Waitress did say they were busy for the "eat out to help out scheme", but we couldn't face ordering desserts with that kind of wait.

   Absolutely gorgeous room, clean, bright, airy, very spacious, very comfortable. The bath was lovely and deep and the water piping hot. Can't believe it's so cheap! When I opened the door on the first night I actually said "wow" as i wasn't expecting the room to be so beautiful. The continental breakfast included in the room rate leaves a little something to be desired, there wasn't a great deal of selection but if you're happy with toast and cereal its all good. The cooked breakfast menu was reasonable pricewise ranging from a full Scottish breakfast at £6.95 to a big bowl of porridge at £2.95 (I had the porridge and it was very filling, good generous portion served with honey and cream on the side to add to your own taste) so can't really fault it considering how well priced the rooms are. Service on the cooked side was a little slow as only one member of staff on it seemed so if you're rushing to work leave enough time if you want a hot breakfast. Will definitely be staying again. This is the third oyo hotel i have stayed in recently and whilst all have been satisfactory this one has really raised the bar. The restaurant downstairs is reasonably priced and the food delicious too. I've found my work trip bolt hole!

   Characterful Victorian townhouses converted to a hotel and restaurant. Well located just off the motorway. A good alternative to a chain motel. The Italian restaurant is strongly recommended for a great plate of Italian food and friendly service. Good sized rooms, modern decor which has been recently upgraded
