Nice pub, good beer. Shame the guy behind the bar was a miserable sod. Ordered three beers and somehow picked up someone else's beer that had just been poured. The bloke was livid, threatened to charge me for it and asked for the pint back even though I'd already had a sip!

Awesome neighborhood pub with a fun take on pie and classic fish and chips. Loved the decor as well. Ample serving sizes.

Nice little bar. Good for football and small talks. I ordered the fish and stay for a while before I left the town. Fish could be more delicious as the one I got was not very good for my taste. But I can see the locals enjoys this place and I like it as well.

Great little Scottish pub. Wife and I were there a couple years ago while staying in South Queensferry on a trip to the Open when it was at St. Andrews. Came back on another trip to Edinburgh with more of the family this summer and it was the one place that was already circled when we came back to Scotland from the States. The locals are fun to hang with, the staff is super friendly and the meat pies were the best I've had in two trips to Scotland. The one thing I'd like to point out and give a HUGE thanks for is that we made a reservation for dinner several months in advance and the day and time we reserved was actually a time the kitchen was closed. They actually brought in extra staff to open the kitchen just for us and honored the reservation when they could have easily reached out later and said no. If around the Edinburgh area I'd absolutely recommend stopping here for a pint and some food. The little harbor is just a short walk away and views of the three bridges is worth it. If driving, parking can be tricky but there's a free lot on Rose Ln. - turn in between the pizza shop and Priory church and head towards the Firth.

A lovely no frills pub with great steak pies. Step outside for views of the 3 bridges across the Firth if Forth. Very pleasant and polite staff. Traditional Scottish pub. No tartan tat.

We had a lovely (last) night out in Scotland at The Ferry Tap, where we were advised by locals for whiskey. Nice little cafe on the shore at Queensferry South.
