We are lucky to have such a good Indian restaurant in Haddington. The restaurant itself is huge and a little dated inside so we prefer to stick to takeaways. Food is cooked fresh and very tasty. Lovely staff too. We can recommend.

Not a bad restaurant but I've had much better Indians in Scotland that's for sure. As a lot of people have commented the service definitely needs some work, not overly friendly... Hardly any dialogue and didn't even say bye when we left ...! The food was ok , spiced nicely and a fair amount of flavour however one of my pet hates ... Don't bring out 2 people's rice in one pot, it's not hard to have 2 separate dishes with our own rice in as 99 % of restaurants I go to manage to do it. The chicken didn't feel very fresh, a bit squidgy in places and some of the potatoes in the Bombay aloos were also hard and not very spicy I'll add. The rest however was nice like our keema naan, chips and mushroom rice . Not a bad restaurant but not in a hurry to rush back

An enjoyable meal, the starters were excellent, tasty, and fresh. Lamb main was again delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit tasteless, the sauce was lovely but the chicken was lacking in tast. Need marinated longer. There was on street parking around the corner but only three spaces in front of the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself was lacking. It did improve when some background music was finally put on. First World problems, I know, but that's just my views.

Honestly canβt rate this place highly enough. The service both takeaway and in-restaurant is always friendly and they deliver some of the best tasting curry Iβve had. One of Haddingtonβs gems for sure

Had a lovely Lamb Bhuna to take away and a delicious Peshwari Naan, lovely young man greeted me at the door, smelled gorgeous inside and waiting area was comfortable. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We booked a table here having read the other good reviews! Staff were friendly & welcoming when we arrived we got seated to our table quickly! Menu looked great! Started with poppadoms & dips which were lovely! My husband had butter chicken & I had North Indian chilli garlic chicken all seemed really nice when we ate them however about an hour & half after eating my stomach became terribly upset, the pain was unreal & as it follows I had sickness & diarrhoea for the next 5 days,I was off work the whole week I have never felt so unwell! Definitely the food as it was all I had eaten that day!

Our favourite Indian restaurant! Saturday evening after work we ordered chicken korma, pilau rice, CHIPS (they are so good with the korma from the Eastern Eye) Peshwar nan and it was absolutely lovely! I also ordered a chicken madras which was good but not the usual standard as the chicken was less fall off the bone than usual. I am still giving 5 stars as this isnβt usually the case.

This has to be one of Scotlands best Indian Restaurants. Amazing food, with friendly staff that are very helpful at explaining each dish and it origins. The restaurant specialises in Bangladesh Cuisine, but many other dishes are available from their very comprehensive menu. We were met and greeted by the owner, Ali, who made us feel very welcome, showing us to a comfortable table. Menus and drinks were delivered promptly while one of the waiters helped with explanations on the dishes we chose. Both courses arrived with perfect timing. We chose Bengali Shish Kebab and Meat Samosa as starters, followed by South Indian Chicken, and Naga Lamb for the main. Instead of a plain rice dish, we ordered Prawn Biriani. All of the food was simply sublime. I would definitely recommend visiting. A definite 10/10
