Sabzi is an absolute gem in Edinburgh. The food is consistently amazing and so authenticβ¦every single time, whether Iβve eaten in the restaurant or ordered home delivery, it has been outstanding. The service is just as incredible. Steven and his dad are genuinely some of the friendliest, most welcoming people youβll meet, and the rest of the staff make you feel just as at home the moment you walk through the door. What really sets Sanzi apart is the atmosphere. The music instantly brings back childhood memories with my granddad, watching Bollywood movies together, and I love how everything from the food, the music, and the dΓ©cor has been kept so authentic. Itβs not just a meal, itβs an experience that truly takes you back. Highly, highly recommend Sabzi for anyone looking for amazing food, warm hospitality, and a truly memorable dining experience.

The starters are very delicious, the food was scrumptious, although the chicken biriyani was okayish here, could have been better. The mango lassi is a must try!

Originally, I gave them 4 stars, but now I will reduce it to 1 because of their rude replies to the review and their calling my name even in a rude way, which is obvious down here. It is better to take reviews for improvement, not as an argument! They should definitely work on their food, service, and behaviours. Non-edited review: For the price youβre paying, the place is overrated. The staff could be nicer, but overall, I had a good time there; although I wonβt be going back!

What a great experience. A short menu that changes weekly. Really friendly team who kindly talked us through the menu. Tandoori chicken was delicious. Highly recommended and will be back.

Don't go by the name, this place will not have many Indian Vegetables options for you to try from. It's a family owned restaurant serving very selective items. The the choices are limited but the food taste is great. It's very close to what you would expect from a subcontinent home. The serving is fast and the taste is authentic. The overall experience gets even better if you make your mind in advance looking at the menu rather than going there and getting a bit turned down by finding the limited set offering. The prices are reasonable too. Overall a good choice for some Desi food.

This a little gem in Edinburgh that not many people know about. Its run by a lovely family. Their menu changes every week. Authentic Indian food. Reminded me of my childhood days. If you are a fan of Indian food and bollywood hits from the 90s,then this is the place for you. Do try the Nutella bombs and also their weekly toastie on the menu.

The food here is stunning. If you love Indian food, this place makes it fresh and service is so friendly. The menu changes frequently so excited to go back and try more! Nice casual setting and the art on the walls really cool. BYOB too!
