A beautiful and welcoming restaurant with a warm atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was tasty, fresh, and served quickly, which made the whole experience even better. Everything was well-prepared and nicely presented. I really enjoyed my visit and would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and great service.

I rarely give out 5 stars But it's so hard to find authentic food here. They deserve it. It's authentic, it's well executed, and honestly, I couldn't find a thing to complain about with the dosa, it came so quickly too. Absolutely delightful, all the 3 sauces were good too Tandoori roti was stellar too, very crispy and flavourful enough Their curries are a lot more mild, the ennai kathirikai was alright, but nowhere near as impressive as their breads Mango lassi was solid too Must try Second visit: Paneer dosa filling not as good, also, don't get the main portion, because the starter portion is crispier Garlic naan strong garlic flavour, not much oil, well executed except that it lacks a bit of body and seasoning on its own

Rishi's is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the spotlessly clean and inviting atmosphere. The location is fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a delicious meal. The service was incredibly fast and attentive, and every single dish was a testament to the chef's skill. We ordered the dosa, which was perfectly crispy and flavorful, as well as the Rishi's special and chole poori, both of which were bursting with authentic Indian flavors. Everything about this restaurant, from the taste of the food to the speed of the service, was top-notch. It's truly a great Indian restaurant, and I can't wait to go back!

One of the finest Indian restaurants in Edinburgh. Although they have branches in Glasgow and Stirling, this location stands out for both its exceptional food and outstanding service. Their signature dish — a five-foot-long dosa — was a highlight and an absolute hit with everyone at our table. Highly recommended!

Today I enjoyed having food here, and I’m very pleased with the quality, taste, quantity, and prices. The dosa is highly recommended, and don’t forget to try the masala tea with their dessert! I’ll definitely go back again, as I could truly taste authentic Indian flavors; unlike many other Indian restaurants in the UK, where the real taste and the creativity in using different spices often get lost in excessive chili.

We came here based on a recommendation by a friend! With some great choices and flavours to choose from, Rishis was a great place to visit offering quality food! We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere however, despite good efforts from the staff, speed wasn't of the essence as we found ourselves feeling a little out of sight. Otherwise, a great overall experience and worth a visit!

Incredible, staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Food is 10/10, we overate but took leftovers away. Only regret is we didn’t get the chance to tip on the card machine, and we had no loose cash on us. Will double tip next time we are in! Will be coming back.

Best place for South Indian food in Edinburgh. Went with my hubby, parents and my dog and they had a wonderful time. We were delighted that they had a dog friendly place as most of the other Indian restaurants don’t. The food was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. Overall I highly recommend this place.

One of best Indian restaurant in Edinburgh. Their service, ambience, taste quality and price everything is absolutely great. I found this place after covid-19. Really so glad that I found you guys. I used to miss Indian tiffen alot. But glad I got you here in Edinburgh. Your chicken starters are amazing. Dosa is speechless. Biryani is not desi style but it is okay. Your trio dessert is bestest of best. Overall I love your place a lot. Thanks for bringing original desi style to your place. Will be more happy if you add some more tiffins to your place.
