   Been coming to Carrigan’s for a fair while now and it’s a complete hit or miss! If you’re getting a good night then the food is incredible, service is great and overall just a very good meal! When you get a bad night it takes about 15/20 minutes for drinks to arrive and a lot of the time the food is either wrong or overcooked. Unfortunately the last few times me and my other half have been we have had bad nights. It’s a shame because the food here is very good and the staff are usually on point with everything. Hopefully if we go again it will be better than before but that’s been about 3 times in a row now where the food was either wrong, overcooked or the service hasn’t been the best.

   1st time visiting here with my daughter, we were greeted with lovely friendly staff and seated in a very nice spot in this really lovely restaurant. We had the Tex Mex Chicken which was lovely, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the addition of home made coleslaw was perfect. The staff were really nice and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

   The food was fantastic and the place is beautiful inside so old fashioned and lovely. My only issue is that the carpark is not big enough for the volume of people. We spent ages waiting for a space, and disabled spaces were all taken by people who didn't have a badge, which added to the frustrations. However, we got a space after 15 minutes waiting around.

   The atmosphere is pleasant inside. The beef in the sizzling fajitas was really tender and delicious, but the accompaniments were very average. The onion rings were greasy and soft. My son enjoyed his kids meal, and it was a HUGE portion. He didn't like the ice cream as it was more like whipped cream. Overall a good experience, but not desperate to go back.
