We first popped in in August and had a bowl of borsch and pierogi. Both delicious. We noticed then we were the only people not speaking Polish, so knew it was a good place. We had tickets for a concert on my mum’s birthday in October and knew then that’s where we’d celebrate. We ate there on Thursday night and again, we were the only people not speaking Polish and again the food was delicious! Good portions and really friendly service. I mentioned when I paid it was my mum’s birthday and she said, “oh you should have rung!” She then brought over a small chocolate cake and tub of savoury spread and wrote on the box, “Happy birthday, thanks for supporting our small business”. So thoughtful. Every time we’re in Glasgow (about 30 minutes away), we’ll definitely go. My favourite eatery in Glasgow. Why go anywhere else? Dziękuję

Absolutely wonderful little place with welcoming and pleasant staff and portions to fill you up no questions asked, lovely fresh and tasty food from start to finish! Will 100% be back when I’m next visiting! Well done to everyone who was involved in making my experience as good as it was. Pictured was the Chicken and mushroom crepe, to die for!

We eat out a lot. This is probably one of the best home cooking style restaurants I’ve been too in years. I can’t fault any of the traditional Polish food. Brilliant, I’ll be back often after our meal.

This is without doubt one of the best Polish restaurants I’ve ever visited. It’s not just the food that makes it special – the staff are absolutely fantastic and always make you feel welcome. The dishes remind me so much of my mum’s home cooking – full of flavour, comforting, and made with real care. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the mouthwatering aroma of fresh, high-quality food. Every course is a delight, from the soups to the mains, and then the desserts – just wow. They always have a selection of delicious cakes and pastries, and I’ve never been disappointed. In fact, they’re so good that I always take some away with me to enjoy the next day. If you’re in the area and want proper, authentic, and truly delicious food, this is a must-visit place.

Friendly staff and tasty food. Visited Glasgow with my partner last weekend and we have both enjoyed dining in. Menu in English was available as well as in Polish. The wait for food was not long, prices are good and portions are generous.

Good prices for large meals and tastes better than it looks in pics, mostly polish foods I'd recommend to give this place a try, sadly they only accept cash not cards

For years I have been on a quest for potato & cheese pierogi which is a very common food in Canada where I’m from. So far I have tried them at 3 polish restaurant’s in Glasgow, and Foodie Bistro definitely makes the best! Lots of caramelised onion, even my husband prefers these to the meat ones. They taste just like someone’s baba made them :) We have tried other things on the menu as well and everything is delicious.
