   First time I have ever eaten here. Atmosphere was really lovely and the bar/restaurant area is beautifully decorated. The staff were very lovely and friendly but the service did take a long time. The food.... The food was edible but you would have to pay ME to eat here again. The choices on the menu I found was lacking, not a huge variety. We decided to have steak meal with wine for £35 per person. The steak had no taste and wasn't rested although was cooked pretty close to how we ordered it. The chips were still partially raw in the middle and the sauce that it came with was watery and tasteless, I also debated whether it was actually peppercorn as it resembled more of a gravy. The best part of the meal was the sad tomato that we each got a half of. We had been at a funeral and were pretty drained so ate up but in hindsight it really wasn't acceptable.

   This is the first time I have ever written a review but I was so disappointed with yesterday's lunch I felt I had to leave one. I booked a spa experience with lunch for my sister's 70th birthday and the day was almost spoiled by the poor quality of food. Firstly service was slow, the menu was limited and quite frankly the food was disgusting. I had a deep fried chicken burger in a stale brioche roll. Having polite waiters wearing aprons does not make up for substandard food.

   I had a lovely meal at cast iron restaurant. I had ordered the mushroom ravioli with white truffle sauce and i must say it was delicious and the portion was big. The two staff i would like to highlight is Stephen who was the host,he was so friendly and welcoming,has a very positive personality and the other is Josue who took my order and served, he is so lovely,great to talk and very hospitable, he knew i wanted some bread but did not order the bread basket as it would be too much for one person so he requested the chef to add 3 slices on the side along with butter,i was so happy and surprised. Both Stephen and Josue came to check on me during my dinner. I will surely come by again for the lovely meal and great service. Thank you.

   Had breakfast here whilst staying at the Marriott. Was not very impressed and the breakfast was not great. Poor selection of items for the continental breakfast. The cooked breakfast was ok, but not brilliant. No square sausage! Coffee was decent enough.

   A very upsetting experience Went into the restaurant for some food after the gym and wasted £30 on a disgusting steak, was avoided by staff. What is this place? Is this even a Marriott hotel? Daylight robbery

   Just horrible. Please take your business elsewhere…. Burger wasn’t beef. It was a veggie burger! 3 of us at our table ordered beef and got veggie. Steak fries were under cooked, drinks weren’t refilled, one of our party got his meal after the rest of us were done eating what we could. (All half eaten because they were so bad) overall waste of 80 pounds.

   The service was average considering the restaurant was in the Marriott. The steak was even worse than the service. I ordered the medium rare Sirloin steak, and the steak I received was medium/well done. The meat was tough. Lacks atmosphere and a bit slow for the service.
