Never dined in so canβt comment on the food served at the premises, however we ordered through deliveroo and the quality was absolutely appalling. They forgot one of the items ordered (which could happen, thatβs not the real issue) but what we did receive was overly oily, taste was unbalanced and arrived late. The pathia literally had 7 pieces of meat in (basically just a tub of curry sauce), okra was just so oily you could hardly taste anything but the oil and the biryani was lumpy; you could also tell from tasting it that they used frozen vegetables. Minos were not fresh - understandably packing them in a closed container after being steamed would affect the consistency, however the issue was taste, they tasted like they had been standing there for a while and did not have the juicy burst you would normally expect from fresh momos. We often eat Indian/nepali food and know what to expect, this was definitely not up to standards. Would not recommend.

This is one of the top restaurants in edinburgh to order from. I've never been in person, so I can't review the physical location. That said, the food and service are incredible every time. Loads of vegan options and staff that are super helpful over the phone. I've had all the momos in the city at this point, and these are my favourite. Also, the hot sauce is incredible (although very spicy). This is also the best biriyani I've ever had. Thanks Momo Nepalese Kitchen!

We went to hike Arthur Hill and while coming back, we chose the quickest way to Princess Streat. At the Meadowbank House bus station, we have this little treasure. When you walk into this place, you feel welcome. You feel special. You feel good. The owner welcomes you with a smile and lovely food recommendation. Even offered us free tea to sip while the food was being prepared. Very generous. Scotland weather and tea are meant to be best friends. I've ordered their momos with hot sauce and a chicken chowmin. Both turned out great and I am feeling so good heading into the rain. Thank you for the great meal and hospitality!

Surprised by the good reviews. Greasy curry, burnt poppadoms and 'mixed veg' constitutes a bag of frozen vegetables (peas green beans and cubed carrots) from Iceland. Pasanda was very sweet, no depth of flavour. Mint sauce bought for poppadoms was fluorescent green. Will not be ordering from here again. The Nepali dishes (vegan Momo starter) faired better. Disappointed

Tiny place and but super lovely, delicious food and friendly staff! They offered me coffee/tea for free as I waited for takeaway food. Worth noting their menu is more limited than the one online, they mostly specialise in momo (dumplings) at the moment. They deserve more love!

We came for trip from london and I am addicted to taste of nepalese kitchen now. I had momos after 2 years and its so so worth it. I also packed some food and had after coming back home. Anybody must try their chilli paneer, chilli Cauliflower and any kind of veg momoβ€οΈβ€οΈ i am vegetarian but my partner liked their non veg platter also.

Awesome!! We had the butter lamb with garlic naan, and i loved it! It was just like i had it in 2018 when I actually visited Nepal. The guy that helped us was also really friendly and had an awesome vibe!

Tried Momo Nepalese Kitchen tonight and it was delicious! Great value too. The food was quite spicy but very satisfying. I ordered the vegan momo starter cooked in curry sauce and that alone was filling. I also ordered the chilli cauliflower starter, which was a good portion. They were even nice enough to give me a complimentary rice pudding! The staff were very kind and professional.
