   Food was very good. I had sea bass which was a rather small piece. The individual portion of chips were rather too large. Waiter was very nice indeed and very helpful however service could have been faster. The restaurant I appreciate was very busy. There were 3adults and 3children in our party.

   Had a delicious meal here today with friends such great value for what you get , the restaurant is decorated stunning and the atmosphere is so nice the music is chill and it’s cosy and staff were great I could have honestly sat here all day! Will deffo be back and have recommended to all my family amazing place !

   Great afternoon in the Southside. Fabulous service, great food and wonderful cocktails. Lovely atmosphere and with music at a level you could still have a conversation with. Will be back to check out their live band evenings. Greek salad and Mango chicken with coconut rice.

   Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The music was excellent and had us singing along. The decor was lovely. Such a nice location to enjoy dinner with friends. We had the sharing special deal which got us 2 mezzo dishes and a side each. Great food and every dish we had was delicious. Would highly recommend.

   Enjoyed lunch here recently. Small plates were lovely, recommended 2/3 per person, which I think is fair. They are slightly more expensive that other places I have been which offer small plates, averaging around £9 per plate mark some more, some less. But were nice all the same. Service was good, friendly and checked up on regularly. The interiors are lovely too!

   We ordered 2-3 dishes per person with some hummus and flatbread to start. After 50 minutes of waiting we asked how long our food would be. In response they said ‘it’s a Friday night’ then we said ok but do you know how long the food will be and they said that our table was the next order and that they go order by order and make all the tables things at once. In my opinion if a restaurant knows they can’t handle a typical busy Friday night then this should be accommodated for, either they hire more staff or they don’t accept as many tables. It shouldn’t take 50 minutes for hummus and pita to come. I have also never been somewhere that takes it order by order and can’t make multiple orders at once. But worse of all there was no customer service. Why did the staff not say when we arrived that there would be a long wait or even acknowledge the delay when we were sitting. It would have been good service to go up to the table and say sorry for delay. Instead the staff stood the entire night in the corner talking, super unprofessional. That being said, when food did eventually arrive it tasted good and the cocktails were great. The decor of the place is also lovely.

   I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. The food was amazing and the mid week deal is unbelievable value. Lovely friendly staff and a great venue for a cosy little dinner for 2. I can't wait to go back and try the dishes I didnt get to.

   A nice addition to the Giffnock bar/restaurant scene, Southside is well laid out and has a nice vibe to it. We called in on a Wednesday evening & it wasn't overly busy. There's a deal of 3 mezes for £15 available Monday to wednesday, so we had a selection of 6....fish goujons, moroccan spiced lamb, pork souvlaki, chicken shawarma, halloumi & broccoli tempura. Good prompt service from the 2 waitresses ensured all 6 mezes arrived at once, might have been better if they were delivered in 2 lots of 3, but that said they were squeezed into the table & we finished them off in no time...all good & washed down with Prahva lager at £4.80. Well worth a visit imho....

   Excellent food and presentation. Menu is small plates, perfect for sharing. Service was good. Go early in the week for discounted prices on lunch. I only managed pics of the cocktails, which were lovely.
