   Outstanding. Highly recommended, best Indian in town hands down. The owner and his team are some of the friendliest people I’ve met as well. I left a bag in the restaurant and the owner chased me down the street just to pass it back! The food is out of this world and also presented very well.

   We had a lovely meal this evening in this charming little bistro. Definitely a cut above in terms of taste, quality and presentation. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We had the lal mas (lamb) and the ghee roast chicken. Excellent! We all especially loved the black dal Bukhara—outstandingly creamy and flavourful. We also sampled a few desserts with great pleasure. We will definitely return. So great to have a place like this in this neighbourhood.

   Haldi was highly recommended by our host and I’m so glad we came. North Indian food but prepared in a way I’ve never had before. Amazing, but booking is recommended- it’s a small restaurant and is clearly very popular with the local residents.

   Visited the restaurant with 3 of my friends for dinner on Saturday night and it was one of the tastiest Indian food I’ve had in Edinburgh so far. The bhel with avacados, mangoes and pomegranates tasted so exceptionally new but very yummy. For main course we had the butter chicken and lamb shank, both of which were delicious but the butter chicken was more commendable. For dessert we had the mango-passion fruit kulfi, mango-chilli kulfi and gajar ka halwa - all the three of which are non negotiably must haves. The kulfis are the first of their kind and I’ve never tasted them before and are made in this restaurant only. Was also thouroughly impressed by the kind service and overall ambience of the restaurant. Zero complaints, all praises. Must visit restaurant.
