   Extremely slow service not the servers fault but the kitchen's, I ordered a simple ham, cheese and tomato Panini waited 40 mins for it and was told they had no ham was offered an alternative which unfortunately I don't like so had cheese and tomato only, totally tasteless and didn't offer a discount for lack of ingredients. The salmon focaccia was just ok too nothing special. Food is defo over priced for what you get. Will not be back.

   Food to die for! I will visit again... and again ... and again! I was staying in the area and visited 3 times in the week I was there. The food takes a little while to arrive but it is proper home cooked fare. The wine is divine and as for the coffee ... OMG, it's the best in the land. You may need to book a table as it's small and gets busy. Dog friendly.

   Delightful genuine Italian bistro. Intriguing selection of Italian produce aswell as serving delicious food. I had Italian sausage with fried onion on Italian bread which was so tasty. Bit pricy but paying for quality. £35 for two delicious sandwiches and coffees. Worth it

   We have visited this cafe many times. It is our go to place for an authentic Italian meal. Firstly, we love the ambience and feel of this place. It really feels like you are sitting in a cafe in Rome or Venice. You are surrounded by so many tempting Italian gourmet foods and wines of exceptional quality. We rarely leave without indulging ourselves in purchasing some. Secondly, the food is outstanding. It is freshly made according to your order. That necessarily means that you have to wait for it to be made, but the food would just not be so good if it was pre-prepared or sitting stewing in a pan for hours. The menu is not extensive. No jack of all trades here. What they do, they do really well. The fact that the food is made fresh and with quality ingredients means that even a simple spaghetti pomodoro is to die for! Plus the time taken simply allows you to acquaint yourself with the goodies on offer all around you! If you’re lucky the vegetarian home made lasagne will be on the menu. Thirdly, the wine is outstanding. The house wines and those on offer in the menu are simply delicious and good value. However the plethora of wines for sale all around allow you to experiment and not be constricted by those on the menu. The corkage charge is very reasonable. Fourthly, the cakes and desserts are just so good and tempting, that we have yet to be able to resist having a desert at any visit! Fifthly, the coffee is outstanding. The barista has dialled in the coffee to the machine expertly. No bitter tasting coffee here, just exquisitely smooth and flavoursome coffee. We like the fact that the americano comes as an espresso shot with a jug of hot water so you can tailor the coffee to your exact taste. Last but not least, the service is attentive and friendly. It is nice to frequent an establishment where the staff and owners recognise and acknowledge you, and if not too busy, find the time to chat to you. Top tip they have a special deal during the week for a pasta and a wine for a really good price. Best to check though as it can be busy.

   My Elderly Mother paid a visit last week with some friends for lunch. As they don't eat as much now they opted to half a sandwich between them and were charged £1 extra for this. I'm not sure why this charge was added but it should'nt of had. One of the ladies was on her second glass of wine taking her time when she was approached by a staff member who said are you hogging that glass of wine. Why was this said??? Were they drinking too slow for you....not buying enough. No customer should be treated in this way no matter what they order or how long there taking. You just lost a customer. That group of ladies meet once/twice a month will now take their custom else where.
