Hello people i am from canada. i am travling in scotland. I tried food here in the ashmaan. Best india or pakistani food you can eat. Owner is very friendly. Staff is awsome. service is marvellous. I recomment this restaurant to every person who wants to try indian or pakistani food.
Best Indian meal I have had in a very long time. Lovely premises and very friendly and helpful staff. Cannot find a thing to criticise only praise - have to try if you like really good food and excellent staff..
Halal and Delicious ,, we had chicken biryani, green salad, nuggets and fries also deserts,, clean restaurant and helpful staff
Excellent restaurant, very friendly and welcoming. The curries are fantastic with great authentic taste. Been Ashmaan loyal for a number of years. Keep up the good work team Ashmaan
Disappointed in this place. Really expensive for what is an average curry. Also, charging £1.25 extra for a 'hot' curry rather than a mild curry is really cheeky and a con. First time i've ever seen that in any restaurant and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Will just go to the other indian in Linlithgow next time. And the response below to my review from the owner proves my point further... complete cowboys. Obviously he cant defend the indefensible.

The Linlithgow Walking Football Club had our Christmas Curry night at the Ashmaan and were not disappointed. Met by nice friendit staff who took our order and served us in a nice timely fashion which couldn't have been easy as there was 20 of us there. The food was excellent and the generous portions went down a treat. Great atmosphere probably caused by bring your own bottle house rules which certainly added to the banter. Well done to all the staff to contributing to a really good night out. Fabulous night out and would throughly recommend the Ashmaan for a good night out.
