   Today we visited Street Box on Raeburn Place, Stockbridge (EH4 1HX) to enjoy a Thai dinner. We ordered two Pad Thai Noodle dishes — one with belly pork and the other with prawn. Both were truly delicious: authentic flavors, well prepared, and beautifully presented. However, the experience was marred by the service at the counter. The young lady who took our order showed very little friendliness and a rather distant attitude, giving the impression of feeling superior. There was no smile or kind word, which contrasts sharply with the welcoming spirit that usually characterizes Thai hospitality. It’s a shame, because the food is excellent, but the customer service needs improvement for the experience to be complete. A bit more courtesy and empathy would make this place as pleasant as its cuisine.

   This is a great little street food cafe, small menu but a good one, friendly service and very authentic; you know you are in a real Thai place when Buddhist Monks come in for food! The Pad Thai was incredible, the best we've had outside Thailand by a long stretch. And a great crispy chicken Thai salad. I will be back!

   I am a Pad Thai fan and only ordered the King Prawn Pad Thai so just reviewing this dish. It has most of the ingredients I expect and king prawn portion is good. But the sauce is just a tiny tiny bit watery, taste more like sweet and sour sauce to me, prawns have frozen taste, for what it is at £10.25, still ok but not quite there for me. They have many other dishes so maybe their best are other dishes.

   Very tasty Thai food. Good selection of starters and main dishes. Vegetarian options available. Very friendly staff. The place is quite small with only a few tables, so you need a bit of luck to get space in peak hours. Takeaway is another option.
