   We had a date night here because we wanted to try Thai food for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. We asked the waiter for recommendations and they were very patient with us while going through the menu. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it. Service time was okay, food was fresh and tasty. Their cocktails are amazing too! Prices are very fair, nice and cosy ambiance especially at night. We’d made a reservation but ended up getting there about half an hour early which wasn’t an issue at all. We were given a table immediately. Only downside for me was that they tried to sneak in a service charge although their website clearly stated service charges were only for tables of 5 or more people.

   Good food but lacking a good deal of authentic spice. Reasonable amount of meat but overall the dishes were a little small. Strong price point, but expected given the location. Great desert and the Thai pancake was a real delight

   Saturday evening in Glasgow and no restaurant reservation! Popped into Thai Orchid and lucky for us a couple were just leaving so managed to get a table. Excellent attentive service throughout, relaxing atmosphere and tasteful decor, and incredible food! Couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitively be back...and we'll book in advance next time.

   Won't be returning. We were a party of four that booked a table and arrived 5mins early, but it took the staff 15mins to seat us even though there were tables available. It took 35mins forus to wait on our cocktail order as the staff clearly forgot we ordered them. We waiting close to an hour and a half for our main courses. We declined to wait for desserts a despite 3 of us having a 3- course meal and when we asked for the bill there was no chance of a reduction on bill when argued regarding the amount of time it took. Service was terrible. Calamari was unedible. Tom yum was quite good though.

   Very friendly staff and cosy restaurant. Food and drinks are good. Portions are fairly big so if you are looking forward for dessert, you might want to skip a starter. Restaurant is very clean and staff makes sure everything is desinfected properly.
