We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just like the staff. The cuisine is both original and delicious, every dish surprised us with its creative combinations and the quality of the ingredients. Prices are fair and consistent with the high standard of the food. Highly recommended!

Went here for an anniversary dinner with my partner. I think it's a great place for this type of special event. The prices are high, but it is to be expected for this kind of place and I think the quality of the food, the presentation, the atmosphere, and the staff all match up to the expectations of the price tag. We tried the set menu, which includes 2 starters to share, 5 main dishes and a dessert. We didn't go for the wine glass pairing, instead opting for just a bottle to split. The best way to describe the food is amazing, it was all delicious, it was all fresh and the presentations were impressive. The seasoning on the focaccia was a real pleasant surprise and it reminded me a lot of dry cured meat flavours. The starters overall were quite good, and all the mains were amazing. It's hard to pick a favourite, so I will refrain from it. I also really enjoyed the dessert. The staff were great throughout the night and the atmosphere and decoration are very nice. Great place, too bad it's closing at the end of 2025, but I'm hoping that what comes next is just as good at least.

The Gannet showing yet again why it's the best. Impeccable food, unbeatable hospitality and beautiful and well thought-out surroundings. Everything from the snacks to the souffle and the soundtrack in between was faultless. Kevin's hospitality and knack of making everyone feel at ease and welcome is second to none, Amy's attention to detail and charm is amazing. Of course Peter and his team in the kitchen as always are plating up some of the best food in Scotland with the highest quality of produce whilst paying attention to the seasons and still offering affordability. For me it is Glasgow in a restaurant.

An unbelievable experience! The food was utterly sublime, with every bite being a taste sensation. We took the 6 course tasting menu, as was an afternoon sitting, we didn’t choose the wine pairings. The cocktails were amazing, from a new twist on an old fashioned to the pink fizz! The staff were great, they explained every course in detail and were very attentive throughout and we never felt rushed, even though we were there for over 3 hours. Brilliant food in a lovely setting, we can’t wait to return!

Lovely service from Chloe, she made the dinner experience much better. Very friendly, chatty and natural. Taster menu was great, every dish gave a different hit of flavour. Some dishes were the signature of the night. We were full after, was very fulfilling. Nice diversity of mocktails/cocktails and other alcohol. Definitely recommend!

An amazing fine dining experience. The flavours were spot on and the food was one of the best I've had. We had a 3 course meal and every course was better than the previous one . highly recommended

Food was very tasty and the presentation was lovely; however, for a 3 course meal with some small snacks it was not enough to fill us and we did end up going somewhere else to eat afterwards. For the price of the meal we were expecting to be full after. Although I enjoyed the food and the mocktail, the coffee after was not great at all and wouldn't recommend. We ordered a latte which came in a milk jug like mug so was awkward to drink. It was also made with a pod machine so coffee wasn't great and milk for a latte was awful. We will likely be back to The Gannet for the dinner tasting menu which appears to have great reviews, but will be avoiding another lunch there.

If you're looking for a proper dining experience and like your seafood this is the restaurant to come to. Every course was excellent, but the little amuse bouche starters, pickled herring dish and mutton and toast were definite highlights. Really sensational stuff! Fully recommended!

Was here for a lunch time tasting menu over eight courses. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was all high quality and filling. Tried some wine alongside the dishes and all rated highly. Free parking is available nearby and there is plenty to do around the area if you do desire. Price wise it is on the higher side but you are paying for the quality. Highly recommended.
