I bought a "Too good to go" bag from this place to try them out. Clearly it was good to "Go" cause the food was MOULDY!!!! When I went back to get a refund, the staff member was extremely rude, made me feel insignificant and didn't even apologise to me. No apology, can you believe it? I've worked in customer service before and this was something so bizzare to me. He simply blinked his eyes as if he was asking me to keep it quiet and not have other customers know about it. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour from this staff. He was in a grey fleece, I'm assuming he is some sort of a manager. He offered a fresh piece of cake but I was so put off by the mouldy cake, I said I wanted a refund. He was rude about that too. Very disappointed, and I wasn't even given a full refund. I just got fed up and left. I hardly complain and write reviews, but his behaviour was atrocious.

Absolutely wonderful brunch spot! Relaxed and very cozy. Visited the place twice during a very short weekend stay in Edinburgh. We especially liked shakshuka and Mediterranean breakfast. Excellent service and a lovely setting overall. Highly recommend!

Popped in for a bit of brunch and managed to get a table on a busy day in La’telve. The waitress was very quick in coming to our table to take our order and we ordered poached eggs on toast with tea & coffee. It was all good although we would have liked some butter or something on the slice of toast as it was quite dry. The eggs were ok although made in a mould and quite firm with no runny yoke. The cost at £30.25 was a bit pricey for what we got so would try something different the next time from the extensive menu.

La’telve offers a variety of breakfast options. Everything from turkish eggs to bagels. They have excellent Turkish sujuk which I highly recommend. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a great dining experience here!

My first breakfast in Edinburgh was here, and it was absolutely delicious! I fell in love with every dish, and the latte was amazing. I highly recommend all the dishes. Some of the staff were Turkish, which was really helpful when it came to understanding which options were halal. As a Muslim, it felt very comfortable and welcoming. I’d definitely come back to this place on my next visit to Edinburgh!

This is my go-to Saturday spot and the best brunch place in Morningside, and possibly, in entire Edinburgh. Everything on the menu is delish, there are plenty of vegetarian options, and the selection of cakes is simply fantastic. You should try the Turkish breakfast, but keep in mind that it’s plenty of food. Simit (a bagel with sesame seeds) is the best I’ve ever had in my life. And coffee here is great, what else can you desire? On top of that, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. No wonder this place is always packed. Best come and see for yourself!

Radiant café on Morning side. I loved the atmosphere, colors and the Feta pastry! Soup well seasoned and delicious coffee. The staff was friendly, in particular the more mature man who usually made me takeaway coffees when i stopped by on my way to work. He was very sweet :) bless his soul ☺️

Turkish coffee shop x French patisserie in Morningside. Various brunch options from 9 am onwards. We tested their excellent coffee see photos of cappuccino and their signature La’Telve coffee (tall glass coated in Nutella, espresso and milk foam). The homemade baklava is superb with the right amount of pistachios, light and crunchy soaked in honey but not too sweet. Black Forest cake also very good, very rich.
