Delicious all you can eat hotpot. Had really good soup base options, would reccomend tom yum in particular. If you needed anything you will have to be proactive and call servers but when you do, they are very quick. Lots of good options from the all you can eat buffet as well!
Great food, was really fresh and yummy. I tried the tomato broth and the mushroom broth, both were great, next time I will try some of the spicy ones. The food selection is great and I tried most things, there was also a few fruits available for when you were done, really delicious. The place was clean as well as the bathrooms. I went when there was a discount, but even full price, it's really good value for money, so I'd definitely recommend going. We didn't book ahead and it was a friday evening, and got a place straight away, but as it is a smaller place, might be a good idea to book
I’ve been to many hotpot and BBQ buffet places in Edinburgh, but Lian Pu is the best so far. The service is great, and ordering is simple,, some BBQ items need to be ordered separately, but there’s no extra charge. The broths are delicious (I tried the Pork Tripe and Extra Hot & Spicy, and both were amazing). For BBQ, I recommend the Korean Style Beef. They also have beef and lamb thin slices, but unfortunately no pork slices(instead they have korean pork belly) . However the food and experience were fantastic and worth every penny!
Tried spicy lamb soup hotpot at a local place. Staff were nice, but very much self-service and authentic atmosphere. Seafood quality was ok. After a while, the lamb smell became overpowering. Would recommend chicken soup base next time.
Good selection of seafood. You can select what you want rather than waiting for staff to bring limited amount of what you like or too much of what you may not like. Much better than many other Hotpot places. Comfortable atmosphere and not too crowded or noisy. Staffs are not pushy to get you out of the door so they can use the the table for other customers. I have enjoyed my meal.
Delicious hot pot buffet with a variety of options for people to go up and get their own food. Friendly staff and people all around, just make sure to bring cash since they don’t take card.
This is the Hotpot restaurant where Chinese recommends, very friendly staff and clean food. Atmosphere is great too, moreover you can eat as much as you can! If you want to feel real Chinese hotpot, its the place you can enjoy!
This was the first time my wife and I have tried hotpot + BBQ, and it was amazing. We've seen so many videos online of the experience, and we were happy to finally give it a shot. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had about the dishes we were trying. Definitely recommend it! The price for the both of us was more than reasonable.
