Food is fresh and comes out quickly, a spicy surprise in some dishes, so if you don’t like too much spicy be sure to ask how hot dishes are, great atmosphere, oh and definitely have dessert, really really yummy! Take yourself out and have something different, it IS worth it.

The food here is good, it's very much like a chain rather than a smaller authentic style restaurant, however that's what you would expect in a large restaurant like this. The place is clean, the staff are attentive and everything is very quick - we were under 20 minutes from ordering to all dishes being brought out. One small gripe I have is the lager I recieved was on the tepid side. It was just about drinkable but I wouldn't order it again. The cocktails, like the food, were as you would expect in a larger restaurant or a chain. Prove wise slightly higer than similar places but not expensive given the location.

Topolabamba is by far the best Mexican restaurant in all of Scotland, The flavors are so authentic that you truly feel as if you are dining in Mexico itself. Every dish is full of taste, freshness, and passion. On top of that, the staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always make the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience real Mexican cuisine

First day in Glasgow and the first meal is here.. Dont get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the food, it just wasn’t very Mexican.. It lacked the proper spices but that is maybe to cater to the local tase.. The service was amazing and very accommodating. That much I liked. But the food wasn’t as good as the service was. The price wasn’t bad though. I would not recommend it as a place to have a proper Mexican place but I would rather say it is a safe option.

Amazing service and even better food, everything was REALLY delicious. We ordered the crispy fried fish, pork and Barbacoa tacos and grilled prawn tostadas, hard to pick a favorite. We arrived just before closing and the manger still sat us, we had Jonathan as our server and he was so patient and helpful, thank you for an amazing dinner and an even better service !

Very tasty food here. The place was rammed, you will need to book ahead or you will not get a table, many people were getting turned away at the door. Amazingly, the food was served within about 15 minutes of ordering, I was expecting to wait a while given how busy it was. We ordered a variety of different plates and each one was really well prepared. If you are having a few drinks with dinner, expect to pay about Β£50 per person.

Visited before Christmas for the first time with another four people. Very clean and energetic atmosphere. Staff were lovely and willing to explain how to order and any items we were unsure of from the menu. Food was lovely and freshly made to order. Even the bathrooms were lovely themed. They are downstairs and unsure about disabled access. Will definitely be back especially for the cheese fondue!!! I love cheese!!!!!

I've been to Topolabamba a few times. The ambience is great and the menu has a lot of interesting options. I had a lovely blood orange margarita to drink as well. The food was hit or miss though. The cauliflower in the cauliflower wings was raw and crunchy... I can't believe this would be intentional. Tofu taquitos were also tasteless and seemed mostly to consist of lettuce. Jalapeno poppers were amazing though. As were the soft tacos. Just a shame quality wasn't more consistent.

My friend and I wanted to try Mexican cuisine and stumbled upon this restaurant. We walk-in without reservation and got ourselves a table. Service was very quick and staffs were very responsive and helpful. Everything on the menu looks good and we wanted to try all, but we decided to go with 4 dishes as shown the photos. All dishes were very good especially the ribs. The chicken wings was good but it could be even better if it was less salty. It was too salty for our taste buds. Spicy level was fine. Initially my friend was a bit skeptical with the cheese fondue and tortilla chips due to a bad experience she has prior, but this dish has changed her perception. Well done! The interior decor and the restaurant atmosphere feels fun, exciting and cosy at the same time. Definitely good place to dine out, be adventurous to try the different dishes and share. I would definitely come back!
