Probably the best tacos in Scotland. The best I've tried anyway and well worth seeking them out even if you're not from Dumbarton. It was hard to pick a favourite between the beef birria and the pork belly tacos, they were both excellent. The beef torta and the jalapeño hash browns were magic too.
Our first time here, and we were a bit unsure as we made our way up to the spot. Absolutely worth it though, amazing food and good vibes. Recommend the baja black cod tacos!
Absolutely incredible food, I can't even explain how good EVERYTHING tastes. It's always been busy when I've visited but the service is still super quick and friendly, and the tunes set the mood perfectly. 100000% recommend

What a find! We were stopping in Dumbarton for the night on our return from holiday, but didn't want to resort to a chain restaurant for food. So did a bit of research and found The Big Taquero... It was excellent. Food was absolutely delicious and served really efficiently, good atmosphere too with a range of people and ages enjoying themselves. A brilliant example of a small independent business providing great service and food. Can't recommend more highly.
Incredible Tacos and other tasty bits. Drove from Paisley for a Friday night treat and well worth it.. we got a platter each and a cheeky beef birria to take home for a hearty supper between two.. stuffed. Planning the next trip already
