A wonderful evening cruising along the Thames with City Cruises’ Christmas dinner cruise. Brilliant views of London’s iconic landmarks and a delicious three course meal. Would recommend for a festive occasion or a celebration any time of the year!

You must experience the City Cruises brunch on the Thames River if you’re going to visit London. Fantastic experience with narratives of London’s history and attraction sites. For food; they served bread with butter, chicken breast with veggies and cheesecake, but you have to pay for your own beverages though. I would go back to this cruise again for lunch and cruise experience.

There are various boats and tours you can choose from. We used get your guide and it was awesome, a great experience. It was about an hour and a half and well worth the price $98. The tour came with free champagne and tasty canapes. You see London bridge, tower of London, Big Ben, the London Eye and so much more. We did this on our first evening and it was an excellent start to out UK vacation

City Cruises runs a variety of Thames experiences—from classic sightseeing and hop-on hop-off boat passes to fancier options like dinner or jazz cruises. Their boats depart from well-known piers such as Westminster, the London Eye, Tower, and Greenwich. You’ll get either live commentary from the crew or pre-recorded guides in several languages. On board, there’s a bar stocked with drinks and snacks, and booking online makes things quicker and easier. Like any busy tourist service, the boats sometimes face cleanliness or service hiccups (often caused by the sheer volume of visitors). Still, the overall experience shines. Highlights include: A brilliant way to see London’s landmarks from the water. A friendly, lively crew—especially on tours with live narration. Dinner and jazz cruises that make for a memorable night out. A couple of things to keep in mind: Tipping is sometimes encouraged, which can feel a bit uncomfortable if you’re not expecting it. Double-check your booking details to avoid any mix-ups. All in all, City Cruises is a relaxed, scenic way to take in London. Grab your camera, sit back, and enjoy the view—Britain really is beautiful from the river.

Afternoon Tea Cruise was not just about tea and cruise, it was a whole experience, a combination of classic British traditional afternoon tea, with its own historical background, and a Thames cruise, one of the top 'must do' activities in London. It was a memorable experience for me and my wife, during our recent visit to London. With perfect setting, gliding past some of London's iconic landmarks with breathtaking views, while enjoying a nice cup of tea with scones and sandwitches, we couldn't have asked for more. Service was efficient and courteous. Upper deck was easily accessible, offering a choice to have a different viewing experience. The cruise started from the Tower Millennium Pier, turned back just after crossing the Westminster Bridge on one end, cruised beyond the Tower Bridge on the other end, before getting back to the Tower Pier. It lasted about 90 minutes.

Reserved in advance, food was ok but the macarons and cake didn't taste nice, good views from window seat. Staff were not attentive, they seem to be more focused on the middle seats. I asked a staff for tap water which never turned up on my table. Would I recommend it, yes I would for views 100% everything else nope.

We went for an afternoon tea tour and it was great. Excellent service and very accommodating with the baby and seating. Nice views from the river with a different perspective of the sites .. only minor issue was it was hard to hear what the guide was saying about each site.

We had a enjoyable experience with family in the upper deck. We took a ride from Westminster Pier to Tower Pier and returned. The staffs are very friendly and nice. The Guy who gave a lively commentary about the history of River Thames and the buildings around. We enjoyed his entertaining speech. Don't miss the chance if you are near River Thames.

I bought the tickets online for city cruises 24th hop on hop off. A good value for family. We get on in London eye pier then all the way to Greenwich then back to Westminster pier. You will have a total different view from boat of the city. Very comfortable in the sunny day. The narrator on the boat was so funny, making your journey more enjoyable.

A great three hour cruise on the Thames, very relaxing way to see the sights. Great facilities on board including a bar. We caught the last cruise of the day so had a daytime and nighttime view so double the value. Interesting commentary on board.
