Bought an item from this store while I was on a trip to Edinburgh as I do not have a local Stradivarius, on first wear it fell apart into 3 pieces, messaged customer service and sent photos and proof of purchase and was not given even so much as an apology. More or less told take it back to Edinburgh store or touch luck. Explained multiple times I do not live in Edinburgh but just falling on deaf ears, tbh I think the poor CS is universal over these brands. I am currently in the process of claiming the money back for faulty item through my bank.

I have wrote to you before about behaviour I received in store from a manager and it still shocks me to this day. When I’ve been in since I’ve had good experiences but granted he was not working these days. A few weeks ago I was out for a nice auntie niece shopping day. As I walk in I see he is working but I gave it the benefit of the doubt as I was told it was going to be handled from my last complaint. It seems either nothing was raised to management or higher or he does not care as when we again went to the fitting rooms to try on he not only seemed angry talking to a fellow colleague in Spanish it was like we didn’t exist I still don’t even think he knows we entered the fitting rooms. Once my niece chose what we were buying I went to purchase as she continued getting changed in fitting rooms. I came across an issue after I purchased at self checkouts and went across to fitting rooms to ask for some help but a heated conversation was still happening and again I was invisible. I went in to collect my niece and while I was waiting I noticed through the stockroom doors the young lady who was helpful last time was right at the doors so I asked her if she knew how to handle my querie on what happened with my purchase and again she was very helpful and this manager is lucky to have someone else in this shop who can offer knowledge and insight on procedure and sort queries with a positive attitude and warm welcome. She explained it to me and I felt at ease everything was fine. I just don’t understand why this manager is there if he is going to be unwelcoming and having a heated conversation especially in another language infront of customers and not even seeing them at all. This company is lucky they have staff like this young girl who can help run the store even from just knowledge. I don’t know if my last complaint was ever raised up high for this. But this time I have to insist the shops HR and even higher know about these instances as it is unacceptable. To have a shop with staff who are welcoming and know how to handle customers and queries but management can look right through you is just ridiculous. Be thankful for this girl who has now helped the situation twice as she knows what she’s doing except from the person who is meant to be running the store. Please please send this high. It is a matter of urgency at this point. As I can’t be the only customer receiving this treatment. I hope to hear how this is being resolved and to who it is sent to. I have also wrote to customer service about this and got one email reply which felt generic. I have had no reply or communication since about this situation or how it is being dealt with. Extremely disappointed. I hope this brings more light and finally someone can contact me about the process that is being taken.

Asked a member of staff for help locating a top which was indicated to be in stock from their online website, she told me she had requested it from the back and would come and give it to me in “5-10” minutes. I understood that the store was busy so I stood longer as the sales assistant carried on with other jobs, however, after 30 minutes of waiting I decided to seek assistance from another colleague as the original worker had disappeared in the back of the store 15 minutes prior. I was then informed that the top was not in the store but a quantity error on the website. Disappointed as I could’ve been informed of this earlier to save wasting my time !

I would give zero stars if it was possible. I was in this shop yesterday and received the most rude and passive service. My daughter and I went to the fitting rooms to try on and was “greeted” with a man hanging clothes who just blankly stared at us and pointed to an empty stall. No words to us, no customer service involved not even a hi or a smile. It was so impersonal. Once we were leaving the fitting rooms again didn’t even acknowledge us just pointed at an empty rail which we assumed was for us to hang the clothes. I was so astonished I wanted to complain so I asked another worker who the manager was and to my surprise it was the man who had treated us this way! For a manager to have no customer service skills or even basic human being kindness towards us is shocking! I have been in here in the past and have been greeted with smiley faces and helpful girls especially a manager who I found out was a keyholder once I had spoken to her more. But for a manager to treat customers this way should not be in a management role! It was off putting and made us feel like we were so unwelcome. I hope this will be passed on to higher management as they need to have a look at who the decide on being in these roles! Very very disappointed. Won’t be coming in if I see him working again.

I bought a shirt in the sale for £7.99. When I got home I realised it still had the security tag on. I tried to remove it but couldn't. 4 weeks later I went back to the shop and asked them to remove it. They were really unhelpful. I had got an email receipt, but because I hadn't verified my email address the receipt had not come through. Really annoying! For £7.99!!! So I still have the shirt with the tag on

I found the staff most unhelpful when I asked about a belt on trousers I wished to buy. It was kind of worn-looking. The assistant and the manageress were really disengaged; no wish to help or try to get another belt. Could not care less. We left all the stuff and walked out.

Very unpleasant and unwelcoming customer service. Head manager in St James Quarter store called Dale was rude, abrupt, aggressive and down right horrible during my time. Couldn’t advise more to not shop here and not to waste your money on their products

Horrible customer service, staff laugh at you and tell you they don’t want to serve you. Very unwelcoming store. One girl is particularly cruel and is a horrible girl to be served by (I think her name was maybe Aaliyah or something similar) Never leave reviews but this girl in particular needs to be pulled up by a manager as her attitude is appalling and multiple other friends have also mentioned her being bad.
