Excellent family meal celebrating my dad's birthday. Great service, everyone was really friendly. Food portions are very generous and everyone enjoyed their meal. Christmas decorations were lovely. We will definitely be back.

Been coming here for about 8 years. Never had a bad meal or bad service. Always lovely hot, freshly cooked meals, plenty of meat on the roast for a very reasonable price. Good choice to suit all tastes, huge portions and the best bit... That you can have curly chips with what ever you want

Absolutely outstanding meal as always. Haven’t been here for a while but the food never ever disappoints. We had steaks and it was much better tasting than miller and Carter 100% recommend you will not be disappointed either!! Very happy customers
I visited The New Inn today and last night. Was looking for a place that serves great food and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Last night I hadn't booked but they made room for me so thanks for that guys. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the steak and real ale pie and it was superb. Excellent quality steak that melted like butter and there was plenty of it. Today I had the lamb shank with vegetables and lamb/mint gravy.....what can I say.... brilliant. Lamb just fell of the bone and great rich flavour. Compliments to the chef. Great selection of beers and I can see why you have to book. A must for anyone wanting a hearty meal, great surroundings and friendly staff. Prices were very good for the size of the meals.
