I visited this restaurant in Glasgow and really enjoyed my experience. The place had a lovely atmosphere and the space was warm and welcoming. The dishes were beautifully presented and truly delicious. I would happily visit again and recommend it to others.

I had a Shish Iskender w a pint of Moretti for GBP 32. I am comparing this to similar stuff I had in Istanbul when I lived there and my somewhat overpriced local Turkish take-away in Edinburgh. I must start by saying that when you claim that you serve "kebabs made right" an expectation is created. Ans the fact is, they dont deliver. I would stick to my local take away and/or any similar plates I had in Istanbul for 4 months, any daybif the week. My kebab meat was perfectly cooked, BUT, the yoghurt was stone cold, heavy and not the best tastin. The bread was a shade of ehat it should be. The overall result was a substandard lukewarm kebab that cost me double than my take-away, which in turn tastes a lot better. Throw a mainstream pint at GBP 7.5 in an area that averages 5 and I think this is a bit of a piss take. Decor is ok, service is good, atmo is alright. Absolutely unremarkable in that sense. Its not bad food, its just careless quality control, for a mediocre taste, charging top-tier prices. Doesnt make any sense for me., sorry.

Perfect food. Great atmosphere. Thank you Mr. Ricardo for a great evening. They had halal food! Would definitely come back again if I visit Glasgow in the future.

I had been meaning to go here for ages and boy did this place not let me down. Food was bloody lovely. A lamb kebab sitting on a chopped up pitta ontop of some lovely fresh herb flavoured Yoghurt and oil. The pepper had me sweating for a bit though. The chicken kebab on pearl cous cous was alsovery tasty. I cant wait to get back to Glasgow to go again.

My partner and I got married at the City Chambers last week and were looking for a restaurant nearby where we could enjoy a low-key meal with our family and friends. We’d ordered takeaway from Babs before but hadn’t actually been in so decided to give it a go. The staff were accomodating right from the start. There was 14 people in our wee party but it was absolutely no problem despite the fact the restaurant was so busy. The food was unreal and the service was phenomenal - plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too! Thank you so much to the team at Babs for having us and making our day extra special.

Very nice restaurant in the city centre. The menu is a mixture of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine (Lebanese, Turkish, Greek etc). There are many different options to select from. It can get quite busy, so it's better to make a reservation in advance.
