This, for me, was the find of a hidden gem, but overall, it's good food and great VfM. I ordered the cheese sambousek, which turned out to be sigara borek but was still nice and the mix grill for one, which is one of the biggest and best I've had. It came with both rice and naan. Included in the grill was: a skewer each of lamb kofta kebab & shish taouk, chicken & lamb shawarma & chicken wings. Garnished with a roasted chilli, tomato and onion. Served with thoum and chilli sauce. I'll keep it short and say it was delicious, the inky bit I would criticise is the shawarma which did not taste the freshest but everything else was awesome!

If you're looking for the best Mandhi in Glasgow, Bab Al Hara is the place to be. Their lamb shoulder Mandhi is outstandingβ€”perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The chicken rotisserie with Mandhi rice is another highlight, featuring juicy, fall-off-the-bone meat paired with fragrant rice, all at a reasonable price. For group dining, the mixed kebab platter is an excellent option, offering a delicious variety of well-seasoned, perfectly grilled meats. The restaurant also caters to larger groups with their unique Majlis dining setup, providing a cozy and authentic experience. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Bab Al Hara serves the finest Mandhi in Glasgow and offers a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!

I didn’t have a good experience at this restaurant. I chose this place based on customer’s google reviews. We were 5 people, we were not all served at the same time. we have noticed that the rice is the same regardless of the name of the dish! The meat was undercooked. However the staff is very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

I had dinner with my friend on a Saturday night we showed the waitress pictures of what we wanted she told us it was a mixed grill so we shared that and it was lovely, she also offered us free lentil soup which warmed us up nicely. The grill needed a curry sauce or something as it comes with lots of rice and 2 nan breads. Dinner for 2 with 2 cans each was less than Β£35

One of the best in Glasgow. First of all, you get the vibe and feel of a private table even though there are a lot of seats. Tried the half grilled chicken. Super awesome flavour and taste. The plain naan was so good. Great service and hospitality too.

Ate here before going to a concert at the O2 as there were vegetarian options. Service was quick. The food was tasty, especially the naan and the rice. My main dish with the beans in it was nice, but quite runny. My husband's dish had more substance to it. He said it was delicious. On the whole though, it was tasty, filling and good value. The murals on the walls are impressive. I went to the ladies toilets before leaving. Unfortunately, this visit spoiled the whole experience somewhat as the cleanliness of the ladies toilets was not good at all.
