Never been to mokka for a bit of brekkie. I can't eat red meat and veggie or vegan sausages can be s gamble as some of them just aren't as nice as the real deal. The wife went with the large classic and really enjoyed it but struggled to finish! The bread, sausages and mushrooms were a hit. I went for halloumi, egg and spinach. Really love a bit of halloumi especially when it's literally just been cooked. Went down a treat combined with the thick toast they give you here. Have been before and the staff are really nice. We got here just at the end of the breakfast service but the lad on the till encouraged us that he'd be able to fit us in if we know what we want. Have always had a great time of an evening and brekkie was just as good ❤️

This is a lovely local neighbourhood restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. We came for dinner and chose the 3 tapas for £16 deal. Food was lovely, delivered very fast, and staff were great at dealing with a request for gluten free food. There’s a small but decent wine list and prices were more than reasonable.

We had a lovely chilled Thursday evening at Mokka. The cocktails were fabulous and so cheap. The food was delicious. Great atmosphere and the service was friendly and impeccable as always.

My first visit here, after being recommended to MOKKA by a friend and I was not disappointed. The food was served piping hot, but not scalding. Was a plentiful serving and very tasty. Service was prompt, efficient & friendly. Nothing seemed to be a problem. The exterior of the building does not make it look overly inviting, but don’t be put off by this because you will be missing out. I had creamy Moroccan chicken curry, never tried it before, but would certainly have it again, friends had burgers, which were huge. Every plate was empty when we finished our meal, which just goes to show how good the food was. Offer on cocktails until 7pm. Overall good service, good prices and good quality food, what more could you ask for.

Mokka in Downend is a solid breakfast spot. Their "large" breakfast really is large – perfect for hungry souls! The hash browns were a standout, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. Coffee was decent too, just how I like it. Good value for money and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great value and delicious food. We had breakfast and all our meals were amazing. Service was fab and the staff couldn't do enough to help. The bubble cocktails and drinks are a good touch and the kids loved the childrens version with smoke bubble!

We only ordered 3 lots of sandwich style lunches and it took about 45minutes to arrive with no apology but was very busy! Have also been previously and a man that seemed as though he was the manager/owner was speaking to his staff quite poorly! Very off putting and I hope it was a one off but have heard others say similar. Other than that, it is a lovely large cafe with lots of food and drink options at reasonable prices and the staff are also lovely. Indoor and outdoor seating and car parking available outside a large coap car park (no time restrictions) really nicely decorated and never cold either which is great at this time of year. I believe there’s also a bar in the evening which is a great idea

Service was great. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Great breakfast menu selection. Breakfast menu has a pretty good selection of meals for those with dietary requirements too! Think we're going to have to go back to try more of the menu! Food came really quickly, was hot and tasted good. Great new addition to the Downend high street. We will definetly be back again, and again and again!

Good little place for coffee and breakfast with decent vegan food including cakes. Staff here are attentive and nice with a modern atmosphere. Pros: Vegan breakfast and coffee were very good quality and service was fast. Cons: Portion size for the price is a little steep. (Coffee and breakfast is roughly £15)

Nice atmosphere and place. There are many flowers and everything is quite aesthetic. Nice and big dishes with good prices and lovely staff. The only think I disliked was the very short table we were accommodated in, It wasn't very pleasant eating hunched over.
