The Pork Tomahawk here is always absolutely amazing. Other food choices I’ve been told are excellent (but I never cheat on the Hawk). Lucy, Becky, Kadeem and others always offer a fantastic service with a smile. Also Sue’s quiz night on a Tuesday is the highlight of my mum’s week. Defo recommend!!!
I regularly attend this friendly pub on a Tuesday evening for Sue's quiz night. Sue herself makes everyone feel like part of the family. The quiz itself is very engaging with a number of different aspects to it. Further the Bar staff etc are warm and welcoming.
The team here are so lovely and helpful! We had a good Christmas meal, really good for what you pay. Becky was so friendly and welcoming and made our visit really special. Luke was also really helpful and the whole team gave great service. We also appreciated that there were ramps the whole way through the pub with a good sized, clean accessible toilet. The ladies toilets were also lovely and clean!
What an enjoyable experience had the steak and chicken sizzler steak cooked to perfection as was the chicken and both were succulent and full of flavour Staff polite and efficient Will definitely be returning
First time visiting as I happened to be in the area and took a chance I'd get a table on a busy Saturday night. The lovely staff couldn't have been more welcoming, the food was delicious and the desserts are stunning. Thank you Kate, Erin and Marlee and the rest of the team for such a lovely evening. I will definitely return.
Not a place I'd choose to eat but the location was convenient. Sadly the service was ehm, not the best. Go and order inside, sauces are on the window, sort of barking orders. The food was small, the tiniest piece of chicken breasts topped off with burnt piece of bacon, it was bitter. I actually thought it was a child portion but didn't question it. Perhaps things are more expensive so the portions are smaller?? I was actually really hungry and this didn't satisfied me, lol. I expect it's normal standard for a place like this you know what you get like a wether spoons type. I guess cheap and cheerful.
Fantastic food!!! We had halloumi fajitas, a mixed grill, nachos and a sandwich… lots of choice on the menu to suit each of us. Service was kind, friendly and professional and although not the speediest, the waitress was great to say she was doing it all!! Great atmosphere in the pub too with some soft music and all very clean and tidy. Enjoyed our visit and would come again.
