We ordered takeaway and the food was ready in 15mins! Very efficient service. The portion of the beef chowfun was massive. Definitely worth the price. Although the beef is a bit tasteless, overall itβs a 7.5/10! The sweet and sour pork is very delicious. There were a lot of pieces of the pork, it goes really well with rice! The staff were all so nice and welcoming.

After receiving several recommendations in a local (to the Stoke Gifford area) Facebook page, we booked a table for Friday evening at 7pm. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew this restaurant was something special. The warm ambiance, inviting aromas, and attentive staff set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece - beautifully presented, bursting with authentic flavours, and perfectly balanced. Our starters were absolutely stunning. One serving of the spring rolls (x2), which were crispy, moist, and delightful. Hot and sour soup was also ordered - delicious! Mains were bang on the money. Special cabbage with chicken and pork was out of this world (and a dish from the managerβs hometown). The chicken chow mein had just the right amount of wok-charred smokiness. All served with rice (egg fried and boiled). All washed down with a bottle of Rose, and three cans of Sprite (spot the driver!). In all, a wonderful experience, and very wallet-friendly! Would absolutely highly recommend!

Been eating here for years in the past, called in recently to visit as we were in the area. Iβm glad to say the food is still amazing. Brilliant management and crew, friendly and hospitable. Could not recommend Hao Wei enough.

We came for the Wednesday family meal, and it was amazing. Loads of lovely, delicious food, great service. Had the crispy chicken, crispy duck pancakes, crispy lamb, sweet and sour, mixed meat in black bean sauce, crispy noodles, jasmine tea, and rice.

Iβm not usually the biggest fan of Chinese food, but my partner loves it, so we gave Hao Wei a try, and Iβm so glad we did. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour, fresh, and seriously satisfying. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Itβs now become a firm favourite for us and part of our go-to hangover cure routine. Highly recommend giving it a try, even if Chinese isnβt normally your first choice, you might be surprised like I was!

We went without booking and they were quick to get us a table. Fresh food, great quality and taste, nice interior and more than reasonable price for a restaurant. A must try.

Excellent clean restaurant, helpful friendly staff and quick service. Food was very tasty and seemed good value for money, although being from 'Up North' things are generally more expensive down this was anyway. I had to crispy beef and chili with egg fried rice and a can of pop. Beef had some nice heat to it, and crispy and fresh! No complaints and i will be back everytime now! compliments to all!

Had high hopes but we found this place just ok. we dined as a couple and my starter came out 'just' before my wife finished hers. This was only because I walked up to the bar and had to ask where my starter was..... Really can't understand how this is acceptable? The chicken satay skewers sauce is curry sauce with added bits of nuts so just tastes of curry. The main was good but the chicken was a little tasteless. There are no knives and forks. Only chopsticks unless you ask. We were not offered any further drinks and had to wait a while to pay. I think they are trying to serve too many take away orders which makes the restaurant suffer? The door constantly opens and shuts with various people watching you eat from the takeaway queue which you also have to try and squeeze through to get to the loo. Staff were polite so upped it to 2 stars
