   First visit under the new management. Good sized piece of Haddock at £8.30, cod was same price. Skin on, just how I like it. Potato scallops goods, but maybe drop the price for buying multiples. Didn't get salt or vinegar as I prefer adding at home. Tesco Finest tartare

   Ive never had a problem with this place in the past ... infact its probably one of the best around but I may have to order elsewhere from now on .. tonight I had cold food and the delivery driver had his music so loud in his car that I've just had 2 neighbours knock on my door asking if he could turn it down next time.. I couldn't be more embarrassed to be honest .. it's 9:50pm please have more respect.. my neighbours have very young children .. it's just not on!

   Absolutely shocking service! Ordered food via telephone for delivery at 19.20 on a Tuesday evening. Was told 1 hour for delivery which was fine. Come 10pm no food and phonecalls being ignored! Quick to take your money!! Once food arrived there were 2 boxes of nuggets missing, called back AGAIN to be told I didn't order them which is a blatant lie the total I paid was more than what he claims I ordered!! Loved this place but will definitely never order again! STAY AWAY IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT FOOD!!!!!

   I ordered a takeaway on the app on Monday and was accepted by the store. About ten minutes later, I received a phone call from the owner I assume saying he had forgotten to change the delivery on app as he had no drivers. This would have been no problem if he had been polite and offered a refund but he was rude from the moment I answered the phone, repeatedly said I could have my takeaway the next day (Tuesday) and when he finally started listening to what I was saying which was asking for a refund, he said he could give me my money back the next day (Tuesday). I refused this and asked him to return my money so I could go elsewhere. At one point he hangs up on me and I have to call him back. He asked (more demanded) for 20 minutes to sort this out. 20 minutes go by and he calls again and said he has now found a delivery driver and will deliver my order. I accepted as it was obvious I wasn’t going to get my refund. The food delivered wasn’t nice either. The only good thing about this, was that the delivery driver was lovely. I regularly buy takeaways from Coombend Fish Bar for years now as my kids enjoy it but I will never buy from them again. I will be going elsewhere in future after the terrible service I received and how the man spoke to me.

   I phoned an order through this evening for a mixed kebab on nan bread. Which is usually lamb donner and chicken donner and all we received was chicken donner no lamb. I’m so annoyed as by the time id got home to actually eat the kebab the order was obviously wrong and they were closed so unable to let them know. I wouldn’t mind too much but 3 times I went over the order with the girl and still got it wrong and I hate the chicken donner so I end up with no tea. So thank you for that I don’t think lll be ordering from here again as it’s not the first time it’s happened

   Approached the door and noticed it is under new management. Never been here before at all. Staff are really welcoming, large menu all at a reasonable price for fish and chips. service was quick and the food really good. If your not a big eater go for a child fish box probably the same size of an adults at my local chippy. Great good a quality price. Keep up the great work. Thank your.
