Elegance, longevity, and high-quality materials, and Reiss size 4 has always been size 4 over many years. I recommend it. I have also checked some other opinions here. It's funny; it's a clothes shop selling only clothes; I have never been offered any food or even coffee.

I visited the store to purchase a black garment. During my entire visit, the sales assistant Rheca did not offer any assistance or acknowledgment. She was on the phone the whole time, ignoring me completely—even when I was standing at the counter ready to pay. After waiting for about five minutes without any response, I finally said, “Please give me the scissors, I will remove the tag myself.” She impatiently threw the scissors onto the table. When I handed her the tag, she briefly scanned it and pointed at the POS machine without saying a word. I told her that her behaviour was very rude, to which she simply replied that she was “on the phone” and told me to “go and complain.”

Collected an online order in store a while back. No staff at the till nor on the shop floor. After waiting a few minutes, two members of staff appeared from the back and walked over to the till. I was ignored by the first, the second (who appeared to be a manager) once settled behind the till looked at me and said "yes?". While that person was away getting my order, another customer arrived and was greeted by the first member of staff with smiles and offers of help. I was made to feel like an inconvenience and not the kind of person they wanted in their shop. No apologies for leaving a customer waiting and alone in the shop just disdain and attitude.

The best café out of all the department stores in Edinburgh. Lovely views out towards Leith and Fife. Lots of selection on offer whether looking for a coffee and a cake or a hearty meal. Great selection of sweet treats available too. Probably a bit more expensive than other cafes but it probably is worth the extra cost.

Great stop in central Edinburgh for a quick lunch. Plenty of options and good views make this suitable for meeting or eating with some really picky people! However it can get very busy and I found a lack of knives a bit annoying.

The best thing about this place is the views. They are amazing - you can look all the way out over the Forth or up to Calton Hill. The food? Well, that's okay. It's a little pricey for what it is for the main courses, sandwiches, and salads, but the cakes are really delicious and good value for money. The children's option is always popular - 5 items for quite a reasonable price, along with colouring sheets. This is the reason I keep coming back. For myself, although I always enjoy what I do eat, I think there are better cafes out there for the money.

If you join the John Lewis loyalty card (free and it is just a points card not a credit facility or anything) then they send you a book of 6 tickets to have any hot drink and any cake once a month for 6 months all for free! I guess they hope that you see nice things whilst you are in the shop and purchase them. So I was using my voucher, I love freebies! The latte was very smooth and I had a slice of delicious carrot cake too. The café was busy and there were plenty of staff around but the table I got was dirty and there were lots of food on the floor under my table that was squished into the carpet, not the best. It would be a 4 star if it was tidier as the food is great.

This is a lovely cafe if a little bit too pricey. The staff are sometimes a little bit disorientated, but the coffee is always nice. It's the views that make this cafe special. Lots of Edinburgh residents don't seem to know it's there so you'll mainly find old ladies, mums with Buggies or tourists. When my son was young I came here often for coffee as John Lewis had a great changing room and I planned my journeys, baby changing room to baby changing room.
