   Went there for an office Christmas late lunch 12 or so of us. Food was not very good at all, chicken was like leather - could hardly cut with knife. The place was busy but around 4pm they turned music up to uncomfortable level - we could not hear each other talk. Politely asked if they could turn it down a bit, and they turned it up instead - which seemed rude. So paid and left to the much more enjoyable merchant square. Won’t be back again.

   Had our work Christmas get together here. Food was good. Staff were all great and helpful. Was extremely busy and staff did well to serve everyone. Only drawback was that the music was very loud for 4 o'clock in the afternoon and we found it difficult to hear one another.

   Came here for their monday quiz which was good, bear in mind it’s an online speed quiz so fans of pen and paper beware. The staff are all very friendly and inform you of discounts you can get from their MiXr app. Lots of room and space for big groups and always showing several different sports. Would recommend for watching tournaments.

   As a pub this place is very decent. Good service and reasonably priced drinks. You can use mixr to get points when you buy drinks which gives you money off in future. The food unfortunately isn’t that great. I got some chicken with salt and chilli seasoning and it came in a weird bag (think they were trying to go for an Irish style spice bag type thing) but it just felt a bit wasteful. When you emptied it out, it wasn’t particularly impressive looking either. Taste was alright but for £8 I felt a bit let down. Also had the sweetcorn riblets which were advertised as having sauce but didn’t come with any. They were alright, but definitely needed the sauce.

   Popped in on a drizzly Wednesday evening with a friend. Atmosphere was casual but engaging, service was efficient and friendly and guinness was top tier. Special shout out to Deni who managed to balance giving us the chat and serving a horde of young Freshers with ease. Would and will recommend.

   Went for boozy brunch for my birthday and Lynn & Beth served us. Absolutely incredible service the whole time we were there, constantly checking up and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was 10/10, drinks were fantastic and the price we paid was so good as well. Couldn’t rate the service enough - very happy and will be back.

   A disappointing experience, ordering a main meal and received a sad plate of cold items, looking like a childrens meal with dry and tasteless chicken. Expect more from the price that was paid, service was lacking and or non existent. Will not be back.

   Tasty burger at a reasonable price. Nice decor and friendly staff. Decent pint. Would recommend introducing a better selection of draft beers though, maybe some craft beers.
