   Popped in on the off chance and had delicious fish and chips with my husband, on their 2 mains for £14 deal. I’ve paid 3 times as much for fish and chips that wasn’t as good. Fish was moist, batter was crispy and chips perfectly cooked. Quick service delivered with a smile. Place was busy but calm, totally the opposite of the experience I was expecting when we called in on the Friday before Christmas.

   It is what it is. Prices and range are very reasonable, decent selection of drinks, entertainment is good with all the TV locations. While I say food is good, it is mainly all fried as expected but portion sizes are spot on. Staff are the best thing - all are so lovely, warm and welcoming. Good place to treat the kids.

   Went there on a wet Thursday as a last minute decision. Car park looked busy but there were a few tables left. We sat in a booth and ordered via the QR code. Drinks arrived quickly and both the salmon sizzler my wife ordered and the halloumi sizzler I ordered arrived within 20 minutes piping hot. Both of us said the food was so tasty and portion size was really good. My wife couldn’t finish her sweet potato fries. We ordered a horseshoe of onion rings which were cooked to perfection. We hadn’t been here in a few years and won’t be leaving it as long before we go back. The only down side is there aren’t really that many vegetarian dishes to choose from. One or two more would be appreciated

   Turned up at lunch time with 9 of us in total, without booking. They managed to squeeze us in and and we’re very accommodating. The food arrived really quickly and was good quality for the price. The atmosphere was family friendly and the pub was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. Would happily return here again.

   Very good service, staff were very helpful cleaning / sanitising table when asked as was a busy Saturday evening. Mixed grills were cooked hot and lovely except one. This was quickly addressed by the manager and rectified with a fresh hot replacement. Overall would highly recommend and great value for money.

   Came here (on a Sunday)without booking The staff here was accommodating polite and said the kitchen was over run with orders for 30 mins which was fine as we got ourselves a drink 1st. The bar staff were pleasant and quite chatty. The food was nice king scampy and chips x2 in which the wording should change to just scampy cause it was a bit deceiving as I thought they would be bigger, but plentyfull it was a nice dish. Would of liked more peas! We would come back again as the menu looked great I like to try there big curry next. Everything was reasonably priced.

   Another most enjoyable meal here and reasonably priced. Service was prompt and staff very pleasant. Approximately enough I decided to dine here en route home from Brislington bus rally, and will not hesitate to dine here again when next in the area.
