   My partner and I visited the Edinburgh Fort store on Sunday to begin shopping for baby items for our upcoming arrival. We booked a “buy for baby” appointment and were supported by Lilly during this appointment. Lilly was SO helpful, super knowledgable, provided us with various options or alternatives and allowed us to make our own decision based on preferences whilst guiding us through any queries we had and highlighting important information to us. As a result, we have secured all of the larger items we need with delivery planned later in the year and the option to add more items on if we wish. Couldn’t fault the store, staff, options or overall service!

   You currently have 2 stores in Scotland. I suspect this will soon be one, then none. With the type of staff you employ at Ft. Kinnaird, best sticking to on-line. Today, wife returned faulty item. Assistant was more concerned about getting an e-mail address than getting on with the exchange. Wife wasn't looking for a refund. The shop manager appeared, again very negative attitude. No apology from either employee for the inconvenience caused. With this kind of service can't see how this store can survive. Be warned.

   We had a great "buying for baby" appointment with Kayla back in January, who was very helpful and patient, and helped us order everything we needed. Delivery came on time to Aberdeen, with everything just as expected and our cashback voucher sent by email. We are sorted! Highly recommend.

   Disappointing last 2 visits. Bought something in the sale and confirmed it at the checkout but realised after returning home that it was full price so took this back another day for a refund. The older blonde woman who had to authorise the refund was a bit snooty about the refund. Didn't think anything of it until we went back another day to look at some other bits and bobs and the same older blonde woman just staring judgingly at us whilst her colleague was speaking with us, and staring in not a very nice way, no chat, just odd judgy looks which was a very uncomfortable experience... Won't be coming back I'm afraid. Not sure if there's some prestige about Mamas and Papas but this woman is definitely setting the tone.

   Fantastic experience. I went into the Edinburgh store with my heavily pregnant wife and the (soon to be) grandparents. We were served by Kayla who was absolutely wonderful, she was knowledgeable and made the whole experience both fun and interesting. We were only going to buy a pram but will now be buying the rest of our baby items from here too based on this experience.

   The staff were kind, respectful and knowledgeable (ask for Zoe). The store was well maintained and easy to navigate. The selection of items and price ranges were not as varied or vast as some stores, but were enough for my taste and budget. I plan on coming back for several items I found in store once I’m closer to my due date!

   We are so impressed with our experience today. Susan was incredible! We are due in October , first baby and let's just say we were totally clueless when we arrived. Susan spent 2 hours with us and was so patient with lots and lots of first time parent questions! She was not pushy in the slightest and was not trying to sell us all the top of the range items. She gave us he'd genuine expert opinion on what products she thought were best and why. We had not booked the personal shopper experience in advance but she was so accommodating :) we only had to pay 10 % on our purchases today which allow us to get the discounts they were on this weekend . Got a delivery date booked and feeling so much more organised!

   We’ve been to the Fort Kinnaird’s Mamas and Papas twice over the past couple of months and the staff couldn’t have been nicer on both occasions. It was quite busy the first Saturday we went but Melissa spent lots of time with us showing us the different travel system options and car seats. She knew them inside out and was happy to answer any questions and didn’t make us feel rushed at all with plenty of demonstrations. Having read some of the reviews here I wasn’t hoping for much but the service was spectacular. We went back today to find out more about the deposit and ordering process and Zoe was great at taking the time to talk it through for us and place our order. We’re so excited to have the pram picked and ordered and the team and Mamas and Papas made the whole experience very exciting for a first time Mum who didn’t have a clue what she was doing!!

   Went last Sunday waited ...booked next available advisor slot went had coffee came back. Ignored by advisor still with original customer. Does being old and gray make you invisible?. Went to John Lewis superb service. Did not get exactly what I wanted but with adjustments it will be. The young new assistant was the only good part of that visit.
