Bright and welcoming. The food is very well prepared and tasty. Good value for money and the service was great!
This is our go-to place whenever we are in the neighbourhood. Cozy and warm, we always enjoyed every visit. Good food and hot drinks that stay hot for longer than expected (must be the kind of mug they use). Love the breakfast, the 3 breakfast bap and their salmon protein power salad. The prices seem to have gone up a bit but I blame it on inflation. Everything else is the same. Eclectic but comfortable interiors, clean toilets, reasonable waiting time for your food, friendly but professional staff. What more can you ask for, right?
Me and a colleague discovered this place this morning and what a delight! Lovely little cafe tucked away. Tasty food, good service and good price too. Will definitely be coming back!

We waited 30 mins for a jacket potato and everyone else who ordered after us were getting their food, when I queried I was told it would be another 10 mins! It was definitely not up to the usual standards, the server who took my order didn’t know what she was doing and halfway through the order disappeared to take someone else their tea and food, then came back. All very disappointing particularly being a loyal customer
Best spot in the village for a breakfast or lunch stop. Quality food, reasonably priced. My daughter loves it when we pop in and the staff are always friendly and helpful. A top cup of coffee too
A friend recommended we visit, and with family visiting from Denmark we decided to try an English breakfast. So glad we did! Friendly and welcoming staff, amazing food, fresh and served hot. Well maintained venue with a little quirky vibe. We will definitely become regulars.
New update: July 27th 2022. Delicious beans on toast and two slices of bacon earlier in the week and the great scrambled eggs on toast !, slice of bacon and fried onions today. Delicious ! From 8.30 a.m. / 8.45 a.m. served . Mon to Sat . Serves full meal's worths, as other coffee shops nearby do not. March 30th morning 2022. Lovely!!! Two slices bacon beans on toast breakfast. I reckon that was a very nice coffee!!.. made by J., who with brother N who now runs this great local bistro cafe as has been and still is! Great !! Could do with a biscuit option with the coffee I think, ---and make sure all the team keep up the quality of the coffee served up, which at times dips rather --, myself, than cake or nothing in such terms. But it's great anyway what one still finds here. Nice quiet corner and good local chat and beans on toast with a slice of their lovely locally sourced meat bacon from Easter Compton farm. 5 stars very much so still I reckon. One might needs pay a bit more just now in society terms, but hopefully not more than we can afford, folk each, and give and share and share alike with busineses who needs meet their bills too. One must think of the costs they face and what one pays for: the time they take to cook it and the lovely table space too.!?? Worth trying here a few times and see what you find.
