Visited for the first time on a Tuesday lunchtime. The food was beautifully cooked and the service was perfect. We were recommended by a family member and will definitely visit again!
We visited Alfresco Cleeve on Saturday lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. The food was excellent – we ordered the sharing starter for two, which was absolutely delicious (the goats’ cheese with bread was my favourite!), but honestly far too much food for just two people. I had one of the meat pizzas, which was also fantastic – again, a very generous portion, and definitely enough to share. The overall experience was delightful. The atmosphere was calm (not very busy, but that’s to be expected at lunchtime), and the staff were lovely – friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We were so full we skipped dessert and enjoyed a cocktail instead, which was a nice way to round things off. The only downside was that the toilets could have been better maintained – there was no soap available, and the door looked a little grubby. Apart from that, everything else was excellent, and I’d happily come back!
The pasta was delicious and bresaola is also a good option. Coffee and cheese truffle fries aren’t their strength. Very attentive service and nice atmosphere. All in all, great place to go with family or friends and enjoy a tasty meal.
Visited for first time last night. Honestly so impressed with the restaurant from start to finish. Service was brilliant, food was amazing and delicious for all 4 of us! Excellent well made fresh food served in good time between courses. Looking forward to our next visit!
Great service with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There are lots of menu options to choose from and a good variety of dishes. The food was good but in saying that I have had better and I have had worse. Prices are a bit steep. My bill for 2 adults and 1 child came to 85 pounds for a starter, one drink each, main and dessert. All in all not bad for lunch, mindful that if you have very young kids you mite consider a more family friendly place.
Booked a table for four to celebrate my eldest daughters birthday. Booking was easy free parking on site and they accommodated a late change to the booking with no issues at all. Service was fabulous, staff were friendly, polite & welcoming. Food was served hot & was delicious. Wait times were great. We sat outside & even though the restaurant is just off the road, it wasn’t noisy at all. Prices were very reasonable. My only criticism would be was the lasagne was a little salty. Would highly recommend paying this restaurant a visit, you will not be disappointed.
Had an amazing evening in this restaurant last night, brilliant staff with fantastic service and the food was better than the Marco Pierre restaurant I had in my hotel the previous night and a fraction of the price. Definitely will be returning! Keep up the good work! Colin. CR Blinds and Shutters.
Dropped in as we were passing on a Sunday, nice smart interior with porch area in front. The ravioli was great, very tasty, as was the calzone and pizza, although for our taste, the pizza dough was slightly on the tough side. Very friendly and quick service.
