It may be a nice place for a day out but customer service aren’t helpful. Us (grandparents) where meeting my daughter and grandchildren here, I booked but when my daughter tried it was full and no more bookings can be made, after ringing customer service they advised they can’t do anything, no refunds, its policy and they couldn’t accept any further admissions, hit a brick wall and we had to arrange an alternative venue. PS. We tried to make 2 separate booking due to coming from different locations, 100 miles apart, if 1 arrived earlier then they could gain access without having to wait for others to arrive!

DRIVER CRAIG ★★★★☆
Today we visited Manley Mere with a group of young vulnerable families. We were greeted by a young chap who was very helpful and opened the barrier for us and told us to go around and park in carpark 2 in the coach bays. My passengers walked over to collect their tickets which took a very long time due to signing a waver etc. we think there could be a better way of doing this when big groups attend. As our groups where getting very impatient. But the staff handled it. One observations for us as a large party where that the bins where not emptied the night before or that morning. This causing wasps to form around the que line which stung a couple of the children. As a coach driver the facilities are minimal no entry to the facilities. There is a toilet and park benches so bring food/drink. Place was clean except for the bins. Photo for coach drivers reference!

Great lake for kayaking and paddle boarding especially if you are a beginner or just looking for a chilled day. The toilets and changing facilities were clean. Parking right next to the lake makes it easy for access once ready to go. Will definitely be using this place more.

It's been over 19yrs since I last came and today I wondered why I left it so long. I hired a double kayak for an hour at £30. Easy to book online and turned up to confirm booking and was able to go get our bouany aids and get straight out there. It's £2 for parking so make sure you've got the coins ready. There is a cafe, but we had brought a picnic that we had sat by the side watching the ducks and everyone out there. Toilets and changing areas are available and clean. There are other things to do like walking, activity trail, fishing, sup, windsurfing and sailing. They also advertise lessons.... so give it a go

Not cheap but we were able to go round Adventure Trail before and after lunch. Definitely need a change of clothes for when you have been in the must water. Limited house down after and cafe is expensive treat but it was a really fun day.

A great place for kids but take a change of clothes for them! They'll love all the muddy activities. Good walks for dog walkers but be careful of pond weed, The trail is free for over sixties but could work out rather expensive for young families on a budget with kids, I'd have given this place 5 stars but took one off for the two pounds parking charge.
