“Spend so much time up the hill over the years. It has some excellent walks and the views from the top are amazing. Middle walk is a brilliant flat trail with some lovely climbs up to the top. Good parking options at the Quarry or by Harmers woods.”

“Great lake for kayaking and paddle boarding especially if you are a beginner or just looking for a chilled day. The toilets and changing facilities were clean. Parking right next to the lake makes it easy for access once ready to go. Will definitely be using this place more.”

“We had a brilliant pre christmas break. We staying in our campervan on a hot tub pitch and can't wait to return. The hot tub was really clean as were all the facilities. The reataurant/cafe was warm and food great. All staff were really friendly and helpful.”

“Attended altended a annual convention here, from 08:30 until 16:30hrs. Very comfortable foyer, tea, coffee and iced water available at all times. Facilities are modern and clean. At lunch a light two course meal was provided. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient.”

“We stopped overnight to break up a long journey. It was a bargain for a huge family room. The swimming pool was great for a little one and the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all working well. Food was great and the chef freshly prepared our breakfasts as they were a little light on guests that morning. The team was very pleasant and friendly.”
