I brought my family here about a year ago when we had just moved into the area, and the experience was terrible from start to finish. We ordered and paid in advance, but while my food and my dad’s arrived, my mum’s meal never showed up. Staff kept saying it was coming, but it only arrived as we were getting ready to leave. No apology, no explanation, nothing. - Refund was received before leaving. The service was completely disorganised, the staff clearly didn’t know what they were doing, and the whole visit was a mess. Absolutely awful experience — I would never come back here and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I live next door to this place, and I’ve got to say the noise is unbearable. They’re open late, like 1 AM late, and it gets really loud. It’s returned to the days of attracting the rough crowd. It seems like the new tenants don’t really know anything about the town or community so I assume they are new to town.I have talked to a few neighbour's and was more shocked when i was sent via email a screenshot of a statement made by the new owner. I was going to kindly speak to them but clearly as you may see in the photo, there is "No Hope".

This is fast becoming a regular visit for us. Such friendly staff, nice calm atmosphere and because they do not do food it has a more traditional feel too it. It is still a family pub with lots of board games to do and reasonably priced drinks

We just stopped in for coffee after lunch, the place had a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and restrooms were clean and tidy, I would pop in again. :)

Spent a fantastic weekend staying at the poacher pub while visiting family. The king room and 1980 room were spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfortable. The pub itself has a real family run vibe and there’s always a warm welcome.

This is Pleasant looking pub. It was quite empty when we arrived they were having a live band play in the evening. The toilets were clean and tidy and smelt fresh. We ordered food but not all dishes were delivered correctly. The food however did taste good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely outdoor garden. I would recommend this place as a good place to visit - Please LIKE when you have read the review = thanks
