   Definitely my favourite vintage shop in Edinburgh. It has a HUGE variety of clothes, shoes, accessories, etc, some that are a bit more pricey but a lot which is so reasonably priced. I always buy something when I go there because they have such a good selection!!

   More than a shop...it's an Edinburgh institution, a museum to ancient clothes and uniforms. I went in to get ski gear and emerged with a jacket from the 80s and some glam rock motorbike gloves. Perfect for the slopes. The shop was packed and the atmosphere is exciting and mysterious. I love it

   Visited this glorious store after we found out local kiltmaker was busy up through April 2023 for kilts that cost $600 a piece. I’m so happy they told us about Armstrong’s as my cousin and I were able to buy a whole kit for $130-$190 and walk around the city in style within an hour. Sassi and Carol were great company and made piecing together our outfits really fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for their large selection of authentic new/used kilts and other quality garments. There’s enough there to stock your closet with regular clothes too. What a fun and helpful place. I highly recommend.

   Amazing selection of curated vintage pieces. The prices are reasonable too which is hard to find now with the influx of vintage shoppers. It was so fun to hunt through all the clothes and find lovely pieces to try. We got a couple good women’s and men’s pieces all great quality for vintage. The staff was also super sweet. The design of the story with everything hanging about in the ceiling/walls is so cute!
