Spot on staff were great, had a gait analysis done and got fitted with the correct shoes I needed. Only thing a customer toilet would have been nice.

Managers attitude put me off buying something. I’m not happy with my experience here. the manager was overly friendly from the start and pushy. He tried to pressure me into buying a jacket. When I said I wanted time to think about it, his demeanor changed and became aggressive. I genuinely would not recommend this place and I’m not at all surprised others have posted about having a similar experience. There’s plenty of other running shops in Edinburgh

One of the Worst Shopping Experiences I’ve Ever Had! I visited this store today and had an absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. Not a single staff member approached me, acknowledged me, or even looked in my direction while I was standing in the running shoes section clearly waiting for help. I was completely ignored for a long time. When I finally approached a staff member myself, he dismissively said he was β€œbusy at the moment” and told me to go to the till for help. So I went to the till, only to be ignored again, even though I was standing right there with a shoe in my hand waiting to ask a simple question. No greeting, no eye contact, nothing. At that point, I’d had enough. I put the shoe down and walked out. I will never be returning. If you want to feel invisible, unwelcome, and treated like your presence doesn’t matter, then by all means visit this overpriced store. Otherwise, save yourself the frustration and shop literally anywhere else. What a shameful level of customer service.

Horrible service!! Could not find anyone to help and when I did, they acted as if asking for a shoe to try on was a chore. I asked for a shoe and decided to buy it and when I went to pay it was 50 pounds more at the register. The cashier just shrugged their shoulders. I left without buying anything. I almost didn't go because of other reviews, but was really needed new shoes. Find somewhere else to spend your money because no one here cares if you do or don't.

Booked an appt for running gait analysis, I’ve been running for over 10 years but never got round to it before. I had an injury at the start of the year so thought it would be useful. When I arrived the person doing the analyses was busy with a previous customer and so I had a browse in the shop while I waited. 10 minutes past my appt time and he was still chatting away to the other customer despite already being told I was waiting. To be honest, it looked like he was flirting. He didn’t seem in any hurry to wrap things up anyway. I decided I have better things to do than have my time wasted by someone else being inconsiderate so I left without getting any help. A real shame. I had plans to buy myself a nice pair of running shoes but I’ll take my money somewhere else.

Good store for a beginning runner (me, that is) looking for their first pair of running shoes. A staff member (Holly) was of great help fitting me a pair of shoes, analyzing my gait while trying different pairs.

Regan was super helpful doing a gait analysis and getting me in the correct shoe. Gives me the confidence to run again after a serious injury.

Hardly a running specialist. Very little variety of brands, all shoes were clearance. The most useful thing about this store was the assistant who recommended I try Up and Running down the road. Waste of time for those looking for something other than Brooks or Hoka.

I would fully recommend the shop. We came in today to get our first professional pair of running shoes. Service was fantastic. We were served by James who immediately asked for what we are looking for, analysed my partner's run on the treadmill, explained the analysis and brought several pairs to try. He took his time, allowed us to try out as many pairs as required, until we found the perfect pair. Very impressed by professionalism, information provided and service. Certainly recommend and thank you James!

Takes the award for the worst service in Edinburgh. The older gentleman was rude and condescending towards my partner, a fairly experienced runner, but seemed to know very little about running shoes. They won't let you do gait analysis without booking despite being empty! Clearly they don't want your business.
