   Absolutely fantastic breakfast spot in Edinburgh! The coffee is excellent, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You can really feel the care and passion behind everything they serve. A special mention to the owner, Gino, who is truly fabulous — friendly, attentive, and always making sure everyone feels at home. His hospitality alone makes this place worth visiting, and combined with the great food and coffee, it’s a real gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality breakfast and a perfect cup of coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back!

   We visited The Coffee Mill Cafe for breakfast as a group during a busy time and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. While the exterior is quite modest, the atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Service was excellent – friendly, efficient, and attentive. Even during the morning rush, tables were cleared and cleaned promptly, which added to the overall positive impression. We ordered a variety of breakfasts: one full Scottish, one full English, and a couple of American-style breakfasts, along with a pot of tea, fresh juice, and coffee. Everything arrived very quickly, freshly prepared, and well-cooked. Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast experience. The Coffee Mill Cafe delivers great food and service in a cozy setting – highly recommended if you're in Edinburgh.

   We had heard about this place from a local & knew we had to try it out. The owner who was also our server was so friendly & welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the full British breakfast my son had the bagel sandwich with salad and granola banana strawberries honey. Also had a fresh cup of Americano coffee. The prices are affordable and the food was fantastic. Will definitely be back when we visit again one day hopefully. Thank you - from IL. USA

   Absolutely amazing little café. Staff greet you with a smile when you come in, and you are treated to a very diverse range of food and drink. I had the vegetarian Scottish breakfast (my fiancé didn’t want his Haggis what’s why it’s on the photo as I love the stuff) and it was beautiful. Really reasonable prices as well. Great start to our day out in Edinburgh. Come here you won’t be disappointed.

   Came in early hours after taking some photos. The guy working there sat me down by the window and was polite. The restaurant was clean and homely with paintings from local artists on the walls, it gave it a relaxed gallery cafe feel. I only had coffee and toast, but looking at the breakfasts and other goodies he was serving to the other diners, it looked good. Will definitely visit again and try have a meal.

   The breakfast here was pretty good, the scrambled eggs were super soft and buttery. Though I wanted to try the Mediterranean breakfast which was the only halal item but they were out and so I ended up getting the veggie one which was good also

   Great place to go for brunch/lunch/afternoon tea! Authentic British and Scottish breakfast deserve the price. Smoothies here do slap! Gino the boss and his crew are really hospitable. Me and my friends did spend good cozy time here and I will definitely bring more people in the future. What a nice spot to stop, sit down, chill, chat and fill up stomach!
