   We were really disappointed by our experience this morning at this location. Upon ordering our drinks, the young girl behind the counter advised that she would need to check to see if they had any cold brew ready. She then turned to ask her manager, who responded with ‘how would I know, check the fridge’ with a really horrible tone of voice. When the girl turned to have a look, the manager then rolled her eyes and made a face showing her annoyance to another colleague. My partner and I both thought that this was really cruel, as the girl was just asking a question to give the best service to us as customers. It’s really disappointing to see a manager talking down to young members of staff, the last thing people in that situation need is a nasty manager making their experience at work even more stressful. The manager at this location should have a look inwards and decide whether her approach to members of staff is fair.

   Me and my boyfriend visit the fort kinnaird starbucks frequently due to the convenience of location, as a starbucks employee myself I understand that it can be impossible to get every little thing right especially during rush hours, but every single time we’ve visited, during quiet hours without fail one if not multiple things are done wrong with our order. on one occasion, when ordering 2 ventis, one is put through as a grande and no adjustments are made as the person on till put through as a grande, we then mentioned we specifically ordered two ventis, and the blonde male young looking i assume supervisor, dismissed us immediately and just said ‘well the ticket says grande’, this same order i had asked for cold foam on top, which had actually been put through and was on the ticket but low and behold there was no cold foam on my now grande drink. so two faults in one order is pretty impressive to say the least. i’d mentioned the cold foam as well as the size but the only adjustment made was the tiniest bit of watery cold foam drizzled on top of the drink, would’ve been happy enough if they put the grande drink into a venti cup and topped it with cold foam but no. anyway to sum this long ahhh review up, that was just one of the many faults we’ve encountered when visiting this store, i’m humane enough to understand it’s just coffee and these employees could be in training or tired or just not the brightest, but from being on their end of the stick aswell i understand how easy it is to correct simple mistakes and just give a genuine apology or recognition to the customer. and starbucks is not cheap as we all know so these mistakes are just not good enough and i would just have to say overall this specific store is quite unprofessional, undertrained and messy.

   Family of 3 sitting in, food and drinks ordered. Lack of sandwiches etc available, at 11.45 on a saturday. Food was eaten long before drinks were made, we waited almost 30 minutes to get our drinks. Food, crumbs & rubbish all over the floors and seats - just plain dirty. Such slow service while take away and online orders seemed to be taking priority. Coffee shop that does not have sweetener either - bizzare. Unable to provide us with a spoon? Won't be going in again.

   Over 5 x I have went in to order oat drinks to be told they have no oat milk. 1. why do they advertise oat drinks and can't supply oat milk. 2. They never run out of cows milk. So Starbucks you are losing my custom and a lot of others.

   The worst Starbucks I've ever been in! Virtually no cakes or serving any caramel drinks at 5.45pm on Saturday 21st January 2023. Unbelievable. Its open until 8pm! They must have it through the back? I can't believe they're relying on a "through the night" delivery for both for a 7.15am opening time on Sunday. It's laziness. Just because you're busy doesn't mean you shouldn't meet your customers' needs. Very poorly organised. I didn't even want to give one star!

   Today my girls visited this coffee shop ,for their first time with their friends. One of my girls was extremely nervous. She was unsure what to order. The lady who served her could tell she was upset. She was very calm and resured my daughter it was ok. She explained that she was the same on her first visit. Thank-you

   Decent service, pleasant staff and by far the best looking Starbucks in Edinburgh. Loved their interior. Spacious and modern! Plenty of parking space and outdoor seating. Good selection of pastries and sous-vide dishes.
