   I was at this restaurant today and ordered a panir sabzi to start which came with bread and it was really disappointing as it was just cheese with a mint design and I would never recommend ordering this. I ordered a chengeh dish for lunch with an extra skewer. The meat was tough and not recommended for people who like soft meat. The service was good, but there was only one waiter in the restaurant and it was very difficult for her to provide good service to everyone, but she was very polite and well-mannered. And finally, I hope this can help make this restaurant better.

   Absolutely outstanding experience at KONJ Persian Restaurant. The food was genuinely phenomenal—rich, perfectly balanced flavours, cooked with authenticity. Hands down the best Persian food I’ve tasted anywhere in the UK. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, but what truly set this place apart was the chef herself coming out to greet me and my dog. She was so kind and thoughtful—and even treated me to tahdig, which was absolutely divine. Crispy, golden, and unforgettable. On top of all that, KONJ is dog-friendly, which makes the experience even more special. Amazing food, beautiful hospitality, and a genuine sense of heart behind the cooking. I will be back, and I will be telling everyone I know. Highly, highly recommended.

   Konj isn’t your typical Persian restaurant and that’s exactly what I loved about it. Both the interior and the food have a modern, creative twist that reflects the owner’s taste and vision. It made the whole experience feel fresh, unique, and genuinely exciting. If I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I also appreciated the music, perfectly chosen and at just the right volume to enjoy the background music without being too loud. Highly recommended! A wonderful and memorable dining experience.

   Visiting Edinburgh for the weekend with my mum and came to KONJ as a Persian food enthusiast! We had such an amazing evening here! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The owner was so lovely, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We left feeling completely stuffed and so happy – definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time, and we can’t wait to come back!

   What a true gem amongst so many similarly looking establishments. Just behind the Usher Hall, perfectly located for a pre-theatre bite to eat. Lovely interior full of Persian motives. Fantastic staff members, knowing what a very good customer service is without being intrusive and overwhelming. Beautifully appointed table with lovely crockery and cutlery. Food looking so delicious you can't wait to start. Everything prepared fresh from good ingredients. No GMO, emulsifiers etc. Just pure not artificially improved food full of fresh herbs, spices and organic toppings. Good wine list. Prices won't brake a bank (by latest standards). Highly recommend!

   I am usually skeptical when a restaurant rate perfect 5.0 stars, but KONJ Cafe definitely deserves 5 stars and more. The food is absolutely delicious, it's very clear that the owner of the restaurant/chef has put a lot of love into making it. There were so many wonderful flavours, and everything tasted so fresh and authentic. The saffron latte was also to die for - I definitely would recommend getting that! On top of that, the staff members were so so lovely and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. My heart felt very warm after my visit. I would honestly travel all the way to Edinburgh again just to eat at KONJ cafe!

   A delightful discovery, this very small cafe in Tollcross served delicious Persian food. Every dish I've tried has been delicious. The meze platter is great as you get to try 4 dishes. The saffron latte, Persian black tea, and hibiscus iced tea are all wonderful. The staff are both very friendly and welcoming. It is my favourite place for lunch.

   You have to go here if you’re in Edinburgh. The woman who runs the cafe is an absolute angel. She is so caring and attentive and the food and drinks are wonderful. My one regret is that I didn’t get to try more of the menu! The cafe has such a nice atmosphere and is a lovely place to spend a morning. Definitely can’t wait to go back!
