The restaurant is beautiful, and the food itself is good. Unfortunately, the service overshadows the experience. Expect long waits at every step from being seated, receiving a menu, placing an order, and getting your food. The operation is understaffed, with the host handling nearly everything, from bussing tables to delivering meals. The delays are consistent and draining. Unless patience is part of your dining plan, it is best to look elsewhere.

Super tasty Scottish breakfast, ingredients were all of a really good quality you could tell and the staff were lovely

Looked a nice place but not the standard of food we'd had at other places in the area for a similar price. It felt as though the ingredients were not of the greatest quality. Our server was pleasant but the food quality was not of the standard we expected, having ate at the Greenwood nearby.

Had an amazing experience, food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. We were served by Naz and Sema who were so welcoming and helpful. Would recommend to anyone coming to Edinburgh and can’t wait to eat here again :)

I must mention that this is most uncomfortable brunch experience of my life starting with the water glasses smelling so strongly of eggs that I couldnt even have a sip of water. We asked for our portion of tomatoes to be replaced by extra mushrooms and what was we saw didnt seem like even a single portion of mushrooms. Also, I asked for my eggs to be cooked completely and despite requesting it again, even the second time the yolk wasn’t cooked completely which made me feel sick instantly. Everything on the plate was extremely cold and had no taste and didn’t seem fresh. Adding to all of this, the attitude of the waitresses wasn't very welcoming and weren’t keen to resolve anything and make us comfortable. Do not recommend at all!

Best carrot cake I've ever had. P.s. that's coming from someone who's first business was a cafe with homemade cakes. Texture was on point. Moist all over, balanced full flavor and damn, the icing was just amazing. Faultless microfoam when it comes to the coffee. Fabulous service and lovely attentive staff. Plus, the place was super clean too. Really appreciate all the thought and effort put into this lovely spot. ❤️

Brand new and with friendly staff. We got two tasty Scottish breakfast and two cappuccinos (better than the ones I usually get in Italy). I would definitely recommend it!

Brownie and porridge were good but I don't recommend their bread which looks like a brioche, And serving hot chocolate in a glass is not practical - you get burnt

2 of dishes were delicious, but our waffle was overly sweet. The eggs were also a bit over cooked but not terribly so. The vegetarian scottish breakfast was amazing and the service was very polite!
