On a cold Saturday we went in to The Clock Cafe. From the outside it was intriguing. On the inside, warm and welcoming. The menu was crammed with ideal fare for the time of year (13 Dec 25) and the price was reasonable. Our food arrived, generous helpings and well cooked. We’ll be back!

This is an incredibly cozy place with a wonderful atmosphere! The coffee here is absolutely fantastic. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and I am telling not only about their professionalism but also about their humanity and kindness, because I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredibly kind, responsible, and stunningly beautiful girl Hannah, who found me on Facebook and returned my handbag I had forgotten in the cafe. I enjoyed breakfast at this cafe and spent every morning here while I was in Edinburgh. I especially loved the cappuccino – it's soft and velvety, with a harmonious combination of espresso and milk foam, and the desserts are incredibly delicious. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone!
We stopped by this morning on our way to the castle and had breakfast and coffee. The food and coffee were both great. Moreover, the price was fair. The atmosphere was inviting.
Found this place on Google maps and was impressed by the pictures of the breakfast options. Glad we went as the photos matched the reality. You got so much on your plate for the price including a free small cup of juice (orange and apple) with toast supplied as standard with the breakfast options included in the attached images. Good vegetarian options too. Good value and service was friendly and prompt.
Adorable little cafe near haymarket, wonderful paninis as well as dinner type foods such as burgers. Staff very friendly and helpful, coffee tasted great and will continue to come here whenever I’m looking for a cafe afternoon out for lunch
Excellent coffee and very friendly staff. Feels homely and laid back. Nothing out of the ordinary, just exactly what you want for your full breakfast.
Best place for lunch in our area. Reasonable prices, tasty and fresh ingredients. The staff, owner and his kids are such a lovely people creating the atmosphere of the place.
The best avocado,salmon on toast I have ever had. A simple dish, but not so simple on the taste buds. It wasn't over or under powering it was perfect. The salmon was absolutely divine. Presentation superb. I would of happily paid double! Its a must visit for foodies.
I have tried almost every thing on the menu at The Clock Cafe, and it’s always been outstanding. This cafe is a hidden gem! Restaurant class food for very reasonable prices, highly recommended!
