Best poached eggs I've had in a very long time. Wasn't too sure about the salad and dressing, but both complimented the lot. Will definitely re visit. Coffee was excellent too.

Went in first for coffee with friend. Only us in cafe. I had a tea / double shot coffee. 12.50. Went in later i asked for egg n black pudding. £4 he charged. Pure robbery.. plus so cold that staff are sitting around heater. Poor staff. Needless to say i wont be in ever again. All for the money.

I have been at Cozy Cafe on few occasions and have very mixed feelings about this place. Positive points are freshly made and good quality food, as well as drinks being available at very reasonable prices, and this is it. Unfortunately, service seems to be usually not cheerful or welcoming, while atmosphere is rather cold than cozy. Since there is not any heating up there in winter months it should operate under BYOB scheme, which stands for Bring Your Own Blanket. Will probably come back in summer.

A hidden gem. I hope they manage to stay in business as they often look empty. Really thoughtful and well put together veggie wrap, more like a halloumi burrito really. If you’re coming through from Edinburgh or cycling past this unassuming cafe is the place to go.
