Lovely little cafe hidden down the side of the centre. Had originally planned to eat somewhere else until we walked past here. Coffee and host were both pleasant.very nice find and would recommend if you like quiet, tucked away coffee houses with character

Got the matcha latte, soup of the day, and an iced latte, and an espresso. Everything was perfect! Service was really friendly and welcoming. Definitely a gem of a cafe

Leo’s Beanery is the kind of place that makes you believe in mornings again. Tucked away like a secret worth keeping, it serves coffee so good it could probably fix your love life. The staff are warm, the vibe is cozy, and the flat white nearly made me emotional. If I lived closer, I’d probably set up a tent outside and call it a lifestyle choice.

We were passing this cute little cafe by chance and immediately stopped to take a look inside because it looked so nice and inviting. We sat down at a seat by the window and the very nice waitress came quickly to us to take our order. We had a coffee and a tea (which was brewed with fresh ingredients inside a little pot) and also tried a slice of the coconut bread (which came toasted and with butter on the side). It was so good!!! The cafe looks very tiny at first but there are more seats further in the back of the cafe and you can also sit outside by the street. We enjoyed or short break at the cafe very much and would love to come back on our next trip to Edinburgh!

Great place to go have lunch or breakfast, the service was lovely, quick and kind. They make gluten-free and vegan dishes and they are incredible looking and also tasting. I recommend the banana bread and the muffins. Amazing place to go in the morning, coffee was also great. I for sure will return!

After a 24 hour journey from Australia we needed a good strong coffee and Leo’s Beanery did not disappoint. The coffee was fresh and expertly brewed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The food was delicious and the perfect pairing with our coffee. Highly recommend checking out this spot if you're in the area. This is a must-visit for coffee lovers!

Probably my favourite place in the area for breakfast. Can’t beat their roll with black pudding and egg. The only downside is it can get incredibly busy

The food is delicious, and the setting is beautiful. We were told they were full first, but when we asked do sit outside they said yes. It is confusing that you must pay first (they ask for a tip before service) and then take a seat. If you ask for extra food you have to go back up and pay, this could be changed! The waitress was very good, and allowed me to order coffee at the table and pay later, but this is not a normal process.

A wonderful spot in Edinburgh for coffee and a seemingly endless choice of brunch options. Dog friendly, baby friendly, adult friendly β€” and generally very friendly place! I had the vegetarian breakfast (avocado, mushroom, spinach, and halloumi on toast, and added some bacon. A large portion and every mouthful was delicious β€” especially their home made ketchup. Great for families, and seems very well suited to people with dietary requirements. The staff went out of their way on a very busy day to be incredibly accommodating. I am yet to try the Croq-mon-scone but it sounds amazing and gives me one of many reasons to return.
